Get early access by purchasing God of War: Ascension.
Naughty Dog's heavily anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us will be getting a demo, Sony has announced.
Additionally, first access to the Last of Us demo will be given to owners of the upcoming God of War: Ascension.
The Last of Us demo will not actually be available with God of War: Ascension when it launches, but an entry on the main menu will detail how players can access it as and when it becomes available.
No further information on the demo was made available, although Sony said Naughty Dog would detail the contents at a later date on the PlayStation Blog.
God of War: Ascension will be released in North America on March 12, ahead of the worldwide May 7 release date for The Last of Us.
Naughty Dog confirmed a multiplayer mode for The Last of Us in December. For more information on The Last of Us, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.

When will the early acess end? I hate demos included with games, you never can tell how many fans of the games buy it for the game, or are buying it for the demo...
It's all about them making us believe they are doing us a favor these days....

My own personal OPINION: I hate the Uncharted series. I don't like the main character nor the other characters. I don't like the gameplay or the shooting mechanics cuz to me it doesn't feel very fluid (good gameplay matters first to me over story). I look at Uncharted as a cross between Tomb Raider & Gears Of War though I respect its success on PS3.
However with that said, I have faith in Naughty Dog & I don't need a demo to know that I won't be disappointed with THE LAST OF US :D
@PSYCHOV3N0M Then you probably shouldn't be interested in Last of Us because it's going to be more of the same.
Every game doesn't need a tacked on multiplayer. I would just work on making the single player better.
I am excited for another Naughty Dog game. The original Jak and Daxter HD remake was on sale so I bought it yesterday. I then proceeded to play the entire game and get 100% with the Platinum trophy in one sitting. I couldn't figure out how much of my play was driven by how good the game is and how much from nostalgia, but it was a fun time.
I really do love GOW and all ... but this one, I'm not sure with it's multiplayer aspect ... why put multi in everything when it is always the same crap over and over again ??? ... I will wait before byuing this game and The Las Of Us ... kind of intrigue me but I'm not sure. I didn't like Uncharted at all and at first when I saw that game I thought it was a new Uncharted with more violence ... I just hope the demo will be avalaible after a few weeks to see if it will be something else than a Uncharted 3.0 with M+ violence with tacked-on mindless multiplayer or if it will be an interesting survival game with tacked-on mindless multiplayer.

@shadowdoggg @MajinSquall @marting265 As much as I like uncharted that's the entire formula for the game and it got annoying as hell as the series progressed. Empty room, room with guns, empty room, room with guns. Got really old especially in the first game.

@shadiezz2012 @awheaten Dude as soon as I join into the game... I died. And, it looks like smash brothers, which I hate. And when you die they don't give you any real player tips on how you died or what you could have done better or even some instructions on how to play. I just found it annoying. With that being said, I'm going to buy the game for single player only.
