Soul Sacrifice out April 30

PlayStation Vita game from Mega Man designer launching this spring; preorders get in-game content, Japanese voice-overs.
Mega Man designer Keiji Inafune's PlayStation Vita game Soul Sacrifice will launch April 30 in North America, Sony announced today. The game will make its debut when it arrives in Japan March 7.
Sony also today announced preorder bonuses for Soul Sacrifice. Those who reserve the game will receive an "exclusive" pack of in-game content that includes two costumes, three magic items, a Spirits' Flamepike, a Spirits' Blightstone, and a Spirits' Fulgurwood.
In addition, those who preorder Soul Sacrifice will receive the Japanese voice-over pack for free. This will be sold separately, but the only way to get it at launch is by reserving the game.
In a statement, Inafune said he has worked hard to deliver a product gamers will enjoy.
"I have put all my passion and soul into the game's concept and my talented team has made an incredible effort to create the best game it could ever be," he said. "I'm confident that we've created an extremely engaging game that you will enjoy playing."
Developed by MarvelousAQL along with Inafune's Comcept, Soul Sacrifice is a fantasy action game built around the idea that great power comes only from great sacrifice. To use powerful magic in battles, players must pay a price, ranging from an item to a limb.

@LinsnowX It's the fact that the entire line was horribly everythinged. If she was the master of unlocking, she'd already have the lockpick. And who would ever call anyone the master of unlocking.
About time you guys got something. I really don't want the VITA to flop and I hope this game is a reason to get your hands on the handheld, looks quite tempting.
A vita game!!! About time Sony my poor little vita has been crying out for some awesome games speaking of which where's that dam new version of FF10 disappeared to?
@SirNormanislost I beleive there are couple of other vita games coming out around that time and I know one of them will be MLB 13 the Show
Stoked for this game but the fact that they planned on selling the japanese voice overs is such a [insert most hated game publisher] move... seriously...

Does seem rather low to charge for something they took out of the game. I guess it's a way of securing all those preorder sales from people who prefer the original voice overs and don't want to pay extra but still...
@SirNormanislost I understand what you mean dude, it would seem as an extra preorder incentive along with the weapons, however i feel that this move they made is pretty next to kin to capcom selling alternate colors in SF4 or w/e but people can argue otherwise; it's just my opinion...
But like I said, still stoked for this game
Including the Japanese voice work for a price is better than not including it at all, I guess.
My Vita is dying for a great game to play on it that isn't from the PSX or PSP.
@Sampawende thats exactly what i said when gravity rush came out. it was really fun, but not worth it. then as i was gonna sell my vita, ragnarok odyssey came out. it was bad. then ac 3 liberation came out, it was a broken mess. my point is, dont buy a vita for just one game.

@raiden-94 well unlike this guy I had my vita since day one and have loved every minute off and I use it everyday and not to just play games and liberation wasn't all that bad
3 Like Nice to see a solid looking title come to the Vita (now I just have to get through AC:L, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Persona 4, and MGS Collection before getting into this). Everyone says the Vita has very few games, but I've been liking what I have so far and am still wanting to get LBP, as there is always something fun to do in LBP.
@blueboxdoctor I know what you mean I have owned a vita since day one and I have always had a backlog
finally a real exciting thing for the vita, purchased mine a few months back, by now i would of played the heck out of it and built a library, but sadly there really is nothing, all ive invested in is perosna 4 golden and gravity rush which were both great games but just not enough, so im extremely looking forward to this.
1 Like awesome. just downloaded ninja gaiden on my vita (for free I might add :D) and I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. I'm glad this game is coming soon. The vita's gaming library is finally adding up.
@WheelerJared Ahh yeah, I gotta go do that, too! I'm so psyched that was the free PS+ Vita game seeing as I've been meaning to get it for a while since launch. ^_^
I would get this game but I'm tired of paying full price for games when they just come out, let alone new consoles. It's just too expensive to get every game when they just come out. What also sucks is that by the time it comes to a reasonable price there is probably something new that's out that you want more and probably better. If rumors are true that game prices are going to go up I'm probably going to quit buying games altogether or at least be years behind.

I love the pun is his qoute, but I will buy this game, it's a new IP, it seems interesting, and could go some where.
I love my Vita but honestly I use it to play more PSP games and Youtube/Netflix than actual Vita games. Definitely going to keep an eye on this one though.
Soul Sacrifice was one of the most watch Vita games around but it's a Damn shame that the Special Edition with the SS PS Vita Bundle is only for Japan but that's okay, I will just get the regular Vita when SS comes out thanks to my Tax Refunds. Now all I need is the info on Dragon's Crown when it will be release. Pre-order Approved.
Definitely getting this along with Phantasy Star Online 2. I don't have a VITA yet, but I'm buying one before the release.
I think this game is good for the Vita. Looking how weak the library is going so far, this could help the things a bit.
1 Like Looks really awesome, though it's sad that there aren't more games like this. And by that, I mean games built specifically for the Vita from the ground up. You'll need quite a few more Sony, if you plan on saving the Vita
1 Like Also i'm hoping that this will finally be the killer app for the vita since there hasn't been that many games that are system sellers. Assassins creed 3 liberation was a let down, Uncharted golden abyss was the weakest in the series and didn't do anything new, and Resistance Burning Skies is a perfect example of why they should havehad the original developers make the game rather than handing it down to someone else. So far Persona 4 Golden is the only amazing game on the vita but even then its just an enhanced port of the PS2 version and most people have probably already played it on the PS2.
@Drilbit777 Did you expect Uncharted: Golden Abyss to be the strongest in the series? Especially since Naughty Dog didn't develop it.
@Drilbit777 Yeah. I think a lot of the Vita's games haven't really lived up to the hype, and as much as I like Inafune, I'm a little skeptical about all the sudden love for a game that looks (so far) to basically be Monster Hunter -- not exactly a mass system seller, outside Japan. I'm pretty psyched for Dragon Crown, and ... I guess that's about it.
Oh, wait -- and the port of Muramasa. If people can get over their knee-jerk "Ew, Wii cooties," it's an awesome game.
5 Like Who the hell charges for voiceovers? Any person with common sense would have it in the game for free as an option. That would be like if in Naruto Ultimate ninja storm 3 you have to buy the japanese voices (Not a dub hater just stating an example).
