SSX landing tricks on February 14

@BH14 THPS3 got a perfect 10, and it was far too easy, and wasn't enough of a step forward from THPS2. Reviews don't mean ****. :roll: I hate overly unrealistic snowboarding games. I like the first two Cool Boarders, the first two Amped games, Stoked, MTV Sports Snowboarding, MTV Pure Ride, ESPN Pro Boarder, and ESPN X Game Snowboarding. SSX is a ****y racing game and not real snowboarding. It tries too hard to be "hip"

A lot of girls/women are gonna be alone next Valentine cause us guys are gonna rock this game on that day :P

It would appear I have a date this year on Valentine's day...shame it's with a copy of SSX, a PS3 and a bottle of coke.

@DrKill09 You obviously never ever played SSX3. There is a reason why SSX3 got 9.2 critic score and 9.0 user score (3,000 users). Street Sk8er?! got around 5 score.... Terrible comparison.

Who are you guys kidding? SSX is awful. It's basically EA's earlier game Street Sk8er except on snowboards. Yuck! :roll:

I was still hoping this would be out in January. Jan is pretty quiet game wise for me, was hoping SSX would fill the gap. Now it's up against Twisted metal! BALLS!

Hmm, Twisted Metal + SSX in the same window, interesting choice. In an ideal world you'd want to launch SSX during the snowboarding season and in the middle of February it'll be starting to tail off but it's either that or go head to head with the likes of UC3, MW3, and Skyrim. Pretty certain EA likes going up against Twisted Metal than the alternative.

Can't wait. Really interested to see how well the GIS-based maps turn out.

He said it was coming out Jan 2012. I guess the date got changed to Feb 14th after that interview. Anyway, I'm pre-ordering. I have all the SSX games except for the Gamecube one. I'll most likely get this one for the XBox 360 since I have their controller so much. This is a must have for SSX fans.

I'd rather EA get rid of SSX and have Black Box make a snowboarding game similar to Skate.

Can't wait for this. I hope they bring back DJ Atomika from SSX3, although doubt this will happen after the failure that was Burnout Paradise(in terms of writing). I loved the atmosphere and the music of SSX 3. The others were alright, but no game has ever matched that amount of cool, ever, in my humble opinion. I'm especially looking forward to seeing the tracklist of the soundtrack. :)

I love SSX and I have waited a long time for this game. It looks great and I cant wait for it to come out (Giggity).
