Strategy First lets gamers try before they buy
PC publisher offering free three-hour trials on full versions of more than 20 new and catalog games.
Strategy First Games is embracing a try-before-you-buy model of publishing, as the company today announced that more than 20 of its PC games are available for free trial downloads through its official Web site. Gamers can choose from a selection of the company's games, from 1999's Jagged Alliance 2, to more-recent fare, like June's release of Star Fury. Then they download the full version of the game, which they can play for three hours before being given the option to purchase the game.
The games range in price from $14.99 to $39.99 and cover several genres, including strategy, action, and racing. The full lineup of Strategy First games with the trial version option includes:
