TomM_GScom I just wanted to say thank you Tom for working this hard in bringing us the highest quality of video podcast every week. Change is not easy but you've managed to pull it off. :)

I still love the video; the expressions on everybody's faces are always priceless. Live gameplay feeds could take some work though, might not need to go quite that far

I appriate Gamespot's attempts to innovate, but it's harder to enjoy the audio podcast when the crew's referring to gameplay that can only be seen in the video version. I'd love the old format back with Skype calls =)

Everyone needs to calm down, Magrino doesn't put these podcasts together just to bolster his ego, the ego thing is just a happy extra. The podcast will come, I assure you be thankful we continue to be able to indulge in the hotspot at all

Thanks for working overtime getting the Hotspot going! It seems some of the listeners have developed a chemical dependency to the podcast lol

@WCK619 It was recorded after, and yes, we talked about it. @everyone Expect this week's episode around 8:30 pm PST. Again, many apologies for the delay. I will say that this week's episode came out pretty well (technical snafus aside)!

Patience is a virtue. And really I do not know why people are getting are worked up over this. All transitions take time for them to start making sense and working correctly this one has barely begun. (I assume) It is not like gamespot dedicates vast resources in order to make sure that the hotspot is fully functional or ensure that Tom McShea has had his mid afternoon fix or that Kevin VanOrd has forcibly ingested excessive amounts of liquids. Or are they!?!

brittish people sound and look funny. well gamers are impatient, you should know that you're in game jurnalism. I wouldn't be so impatient if the calander system you guys show on the front page was more accurate. That being said I am excited for the show... Todd Howard is awesome.

I love the video. I know for a lot of people Hotspot is something you listen to while AFK, going to work or out for a jog or something but for me it was always something I listened to while at the computer. The video is a fun new perspective. It's having some issues but once those get hammered out I'm sure it'll be great. I still wish it was at least an hour and a half long though. My only question is: Was this week's episode recorded before or after the release of GTA V's trailer?

@Chiyou When everything starts working as intended, I feel fairly confident in saying that the show will be available at 6 pm PST every week. That said, the technology is still presenting us with bold, new, and exciting catastrophes each and every week, and until we get these issues hammered out, I can't even begin to accurately peg a release window for these things. Sorry.

@VGJunky thats not the point, the point is that the site says it'll be here at 12, it should be here at 12, regardless of it being free its unprofessional. nobody asked for a video podcast... the idea doesn't even make sense, and on the spot does a great job already, i, like many enjoyed the hotspot for the conversations.

wheres new episode?

just start expecting it wednesday nights instead of wednesday mornings and you won't be so disappointed when you keep looking and find that it's not there. it takes longer to put together a video podcast hence it's going to take longer to get it.

that sounds great Tom... that being said.. wheres the show? i hate it when the front page says 12 and i have to wait hours and hours for the show, it was more reliable when it wasn't video.

When are you guys posting new episodes? Am I missing something, it seems like the posting time/date has grown really erratic. Love the show but christmas day keeps coming and their's nothing under the tree. Also I don't get your podcast when I've come to expect it.

@everyone Just an update on iTunes. I've taken this matter into my own two hands! Populating the RSS feed now with old episodes. Hope to have everything uploaded by the end of this week.

2 minutes of black screen at the end not working for me. Can you just leave the overhead cam going while the music plays? Or put some credits, the info about the trivia contest, something. But black screen with music?

Tom said he would edit the curse but he didn't. Thank god. This is the age where most people get their content from closed-circuits. Start swearing and saying controversial stuff already... against... "the races" perhaps?

@jamster126 I agree that Tom McShea sometimes labors on points too long during the podcasts. But the Hotspot is supposed to be an open forum to get their perspective as a gamer, rather than as an editor. So I like listening to their more candid opinions.

@mehrdad19872010 Magrino responded to your post below, they thought the Battlefield 3 podcast wasn't quite coming together so they canned it.
