I'm agreeing with many of the other posters who think this logo looks terrible and the old one was a lot better. Save your money for games developing and stop wasting it on unnecessary logo redesigns.
THQ unveils new logo

Publisher's redesigned nameplate meant to epitomize "change, innovation, and creative growth"; games to start carrying branding next month.
Once dependent on licensed games for Nickelodeon, World Wrestling Entertainment, and Pixar properties for more than half of its annual revenues, THQ has been trying to reinvent itself in recent years. The publisher has placed a greater focus its own intellectual properties--Darksiders, Saints Row, Red Faction, MX vs. ATV--and begun working with high-profile talent like Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo del Toro, Assassin's Creed creative director Patrice Desilets, and former Team Ninja frontman Tomonobu Itagaki.
Now the new-look THQ is getting a new logo to match. The publisher today unveiled its new branding, with THQ CEO Brian Farrell saying it "epitomizes the change, innovation and creative growth that are the cornerstones of the new THQ." The redesigned logo includes an upper-case "T" and blocky, backward, lower-case "H," both in gray, followed by a curvy red stroke forming a "Q" like a backward question mark.
"By developing triple-A, innovative, original intellectual properties, attracting the top talent in the industry, and placing that talent first, THQ continues to redefine itself," Farrell said. "This new logo seeks to capture that change and make it tangible."
THQ will gradually begin using the logo over the coming months, with new THQ games bearing the brand starting next month.

T is the only thing readable. H looks like a flipped 4 and Q looks like a "?". Im fine both ways
Does this even matter? I mean personally I don't really care what their logo looks like but rather if the game is good so...yeah. Who cares?
I don't like it. Although the old logo always made me think of bargain bin games... And Company of Heroes.
The old logo always made me thing of wrestling games.. The new one makes me think of the London 2012 logo = Awful.
i like the old logo better, this new one doesnt even look like it says THQ, if i didnt know what it was i would have no idea what it says which is not good
Yuk. I'll take the 2000-2010 logo, thanks. This looks almost like the logo for Tony Hawk Ride. :P
If this, by some non-direct, non-related way brings us back Titan Quest, then sure, it's the best logo ever! :D
I wonder how much time and effort was put into this, I buy their games irrigardless to what their logo looks like. As for trying to give a new fresh image,... stop trying to justify having too many chiefs and get back to work on some more great titles. Sheesh,.. "image" *rolls eyes*
It's certainly different. At first glance, it doesn't strike me as easily readable; something like "T-wtf-dyslexicQuestionmark". I think they could've done better, personally, but I suppose we'll get used to it.
Logos are cool...however if a game company wants to improve their image one would think that they would make better games.
The old one was simple - uncreative, sure, but you could pick it out from a crowd of logos... This new one, though? It looks like the logo of every toy company under the sun. Sometimes trying to be creative leads to not really being creative at all.
Lame. Oh so lame! They should have stuck with the old one. It looks aweful; it's bland and uninspiring; it's hard to read, and hard to make out at a glance. Very bad marketing strategy if you ask me.
It looks inmature, but fresh,innovate and fun. Anyway good luck for THQ. "The old one looks 1000 times better than that". :)
umm.. w/e THQ publish many game company games. you think they could come let me think contact one of the devs graphic team?
