UK Chart: Ni no Kuni enchants the UK as DmC drops out
Hitman HD Trilogy enters at fifth, and DmC: Devil May Cry drops out of the top 10.
Magical role-playing game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has dislodged Call of Duty: Black Ops II to take the top spot in this week's UK charts.
The PS3-exclusive Studio Ghibli and Level-5 collaboration--which scored a 9.0 in its GameSpot review--saw many retailers running out of stock over the weekend. Thirty-two percent of the game's total sales came from the £74.99 RRP Wizard's Edition.
Hitman HD Trilogy, the other new release this week, came in at fifth.
FIFA 13 sticks in second, with Far Cry 3 dropping one position to fourth. The rest of the top 10 is filled out with Assassin's Creed III, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Just Dance 4, Hitman: Absolution, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Capcom and Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry slips out of the top 10 into 11th place after three weeks on the chart, with Skyrim outselling it by less than 50 copies.
This week sees the release of Dead Space 3 and Scribblenauts Unlimited, but will either be able to take the charts crown from Ni no Kuni next week?
