XBots keep deluding yourself when it was said by Elspa that 86% of fifa '07 sales were on PS2.
UK game charts: October 1-7
Fifa 07 retains the top spot for second week; Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy climbs back up; Tiger Woods and Kingdom Hearts II hold steady.
As the football season starts to hot up and England come under pressure in their Euro 2008 qualification campaign, it's no real surprise that FIFA 07 has managed to kick around at the number one slot in the UK All-Formats chart for a second week in a row. EA Sports' flagship soccer game's sales totalled more than the next seven games combined.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07, Kingdom Hearts II, and Company of Heroes all dug their heels in and stayed firmly put at last week's positions (third, fifth, and seventh, respectively), whereas Dr Kawashima's Brain Training moved upwards again to eighth in its marathon 18th week in the charts.
Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy proved that the force is still strong by moving back up a couple of spots to number two after dropping to number four last week.
Codemasters' LMA Manager 2007 suffered a 42 percent dip in sales and is down to ninth place, and will likely be red-carded out of the top 10 in next week's chart.
Disappointingly, there were no new entries in this week's top 10 and in fact only one new entry in the entire top 40--Konami's Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence slithered in to the tail end of the chart at 34.
The highest climber of the week was Nintendo's 42-All-Time Classics for the DS, which rose to 17 from 36. However, Nintendo's DS Browser, which was released on Friday, hasn't made it to the chart yet.
Next week will see a slew of new releases, including a top contender for the number one slot, Ridge Racers 2. Other notable launches include Scarface, Championship Manager 2007, and Gothic 3.
