Untold Legends begins journey to stores
The PSP's only launch RPG ships to retail; game will be on shelves tomorrow, one day before the portable's US debut.
Sony Online Entertainment today announced that Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade for the PSP will be on sale tomorrow. The game was developed internally by SOE, and is the only role-playing game ready for the PSP's highly anticipated March 24 launch.
The game is an action-style RPG set in a Tolkien-like universe full of might, magic, and monsters. As evil has spread across the land, the last stronghold of good, Aven, is under attack by a sinister force. Gamers will join the Brotherhood of the Blade and stop this mysterious entity from taking over the world.
Players can choose from four customizable races, find hundreds of thousands of items, and battle 150 different creatures over more than 100 levels. The randomly generated environments will ensure that no two games will have the exact same beast-slaying frenzy, and a four-person cooperative wireless multiplayer mode lets friends explore the game's realms together.
Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade is rated T for Teen and will retail for $39.99. For more information on the game, read GameSpot's previous coverage. Keep a look out for our full review of the game, which will be up later this week.
