Wild Metal Country now free

Rockstar Games releases the 1999 game Wild Metal Country as a complimentary download on its official site.

Rockstar Games has today released the 1999 PC game Wild Metal Country as a complimentary download on its official Web site. The vehicular combat game, which was developed by DMA Design before it became Rockstar North, has been optimized to run on modern PCs and weighs in at around 170MB.

Wild Metal Country is the second vintage Rockstar game to be released for free through its Classics series, which already offers the original 1997 Grand Theft Auto to site visitors.
