Xbox.com site redesign inbound tomorrow

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Well M$, you tried to gorram fix it. Now the load times are terrible, and navigation is a b'tch.

I dont really know why people are slating the new dashboard? i got the update earlier today and i think it is much better! it is much more smoother looking and performs much better! all this is brought in line with the look of Windows 7 and Windows 7 mobile phones that will have xbox live compatability... in short it is windows dominating all forms of media and making sure it is all uniform!!!

The new layout of xbox.com is absolutely awful, there was nothing wrong with the old one. Bring back the old layout!

I hope they got rid of the Avatar hip lean because I know I don't stand like that.........

Maybe we'll actually be able to cancel our live membership online now then, instead of getting us (UK people) to call and waste half an hour.

This update better not slow down the sites navigation speed.

I wish they'd redesign the NXE so my system didn't start on their retail page and the games on my HDD didn't load after their retail stuff loaded up in the panels behind it first. I average at least 40 seconds before I can even see the games on my console, let alone start one of them up. What a shame they care more about selling me DLC I (and apparently 94% of us) will never buy as well as avatar junk rather than quality and allowing me to freakin' start my game.

It definitely needs a face lift. I hope it's faster as well. It was hard trying to find some things on this old site.

Thank God. The Xbox site has needed a new facelift for a while now. It it's anything like the new dash then it should be much better. :) The web game feature sounds interesting.

thank goodness. the newest one(now) Was clunky. plus i guess we can blame the site crashing is the new updates and stuff. either way i hope they make this one easier to buy games via arcade easier. it took me a long time to find final fight one day sitting in class. i just wanted to buy it and it took ages! either way i am looking forward to it

If they improve the marketplace search that would be worth it. With all the resources Microsoft has, the marketplace search currently seems to use exact character matching only and is a terrible search

Looking forward to it. I love how Microsoft never rests on it's laurels. It has the best video game console, the best online service and more, yet the continue to strive for a better user experience! Kudos!

Finally...that site has been taking forever to load sometimes and has really been a eyesore for a long time. About time they did something about it.

I wish you could play your arcade games on your pc. That way I could work on my gamerscore at work lol.
