Few years back I stated that I would not pick up another EA title, unless they fixed the series.

Well, now they have shown that NHL 10 is the best they've made so far. Why? Let me give you a few hints as to "why":

The..
* Controls - Can't believe how realistically and smoothly players move - no longer Golems with sticks on ice! I'm impressed!

* Hits - The BIG HITS, I just love em', and can't stop doing them lol - Getting Game Misconducts for huge Boarding hits, it just can't get more realistic AND fun than that!

* Gameplay - Tons of choices, so many things to do, so many options, it just doesn't get old! (at least for a pure hockey fan!) Tournament, Be A Pro, Be A GM, Season, Shootout....etc, you name it!

* Sounds - Realistic sounds, players grunt and shout as they would in real life, coaches scream from the bench with new orders, custom menu music, custom music for teams, oh man, the list goes on..

* Durability - With so much to do, with so many options and choices, if you happen to be a big hockey fan like me, you wont be disappointed nor bored with this title, I guarantee you that! I've had this game for almost a year now, and I can't stop playing it! It's highly addictive!

As a conclusion:

If you like gorgeous graphics, great controls, big hits, realistic penalties, amazing goals, and stunning plays, then my friend, this is The hockey title for You! 2K, you better watch out, since there's a new challenger in town!
