- The Bottom Line:
- "Immersive"
I am loving this game. It has major nostalgic value, just because of the animations.
I am love with the main characters, the boy is so polite and gracious and cute. He thanks people for their assistance so sincerely. This might seem strange to mention, but I often want to thank characters that have helped me. He is an adorable kid, and this makes the game so much better for me. Mr Drippy is also funny, "flipping" at everything.
So far I am loving the story line, but I am battling with the controls. It hasn't hindered progress at all, but it is tricky to try and do a complex sequence of moves. My fingers get all confused, and I can't do what is in my head.
The video sequences make me feel like a kid again, I wish there were more, although I suppose other gamers might get annoyed with too many of them.

There is a lot going for this game, but it has a few key missing pieces that I just can't forgive it for.

With flavors of Pokemon, Studio Ghibli & old school JRPGs, Ni No Kuni is a very fine meal indeed.
