Yeah boy, been waiting on this for a while, I'm glad I didn't end up importing like I was planning. Day-1 pre-order for me (well, as soon as I hear about pre-ordering lol)

I just may put something over one of my PS2 three-game compilation clip-case things just to honor the Rainfall effort for the hell of it. This certainly came out of nowhere, hope for this localization had all but died

It goes to show; it ain't over til it's over. Nearly everyone gave up on this, and now look.
North American Wii owners shouldn't miss this one; don't let the lack of hype compared to The Last Story and Xenoblade fool you, Pandora's Tower is excellent.
Nice to see the Wii hasn't been completely abandoned just yet.

Wish some one would also release Fatal Frame IV and Fatal Frame 2 remake.
Amen.
I've played both and they're amazing games.

I get the feeling it'll come in April, and as for the Fatal Frame 2 remake? Yeah, I modded my Wii to play it, and can attest that it is one hell of a game. I actually liked it better than the original version, even the new British dub was damn good believe it or not and trust me, I would condemn the dub if I felt it was terrible. I will probably get flamed but I found the ghosts sounded scarier in this version than they did in the original, especially the ceremony master. Good frigging God he sounded menacing!
That being said, I hope Nintendo of America and XSEED Games do the same thing for the Fatal Frame 2 remake as well and release it in the summer. I would finally be satisfied knowing that the series will continue in North America after all, and I'd be singing Nintendo's praises for quite a long time. **LOL** Hell, it'd go perfect with the rumoured Fatal Frame Wii U installment that could be coming.

A bit late, and may even hurt sales. Pandora's Tower is an amazing game. I played the Japanese version of it. The Boss are extremely epic. I assume everybody that wanted this game, got the EU version. Plus the Wiiu is out now too. I hope it does do well though. I would love an OST. The last boss in that game has epic music, and quite the twist too of who it is.

I still remember all the people who said "There's no point in a campaign, it won't change anything!" ..... Yep, didn't change anything at all. It surely didn't get a localization company's attention named XSEED and got them to bring over 2 of the games. It surely didn't help make Nintendo re-analyze their own strategy for what gamers want. It had no influence at all on our industry whatsoever... /sarcasm
Huge win for Operation Rainfall and gamers in general.

XSEED is a joke company in my view. They release niche games in the US(where niche titles go to die) and then they whine and complain when they don't break even. But what pisses me off more about them is not what games they have released but what games they passed on without even giving them a chance.
I don't know why any company would be a "joke company" for putting out games that fans desperately want to see localized.
They're surprisingly smart about it most of the time, producing a very small number of games based on a fraction of the existing user base per system. But that's not always small ENOUGH, sadly.
I'm glad they exist, and I'm glad they're bringing us some of the best games on the platforms they cover.
And what games did they pass out without even considering? I know they've often said that there are many games they couldn't get clearance to put out that they wanted, but they never ever talk about those.
Also remember that before Operation Rainfall, there were four other Wii games that XSeed wanted to localized for NA too: Arc Rise Fantasia, Little King's Story, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon (4 awesome games that would had never gotten NA release w/o XSeed's interest). Unfortunately Ignition Entertainment snatch the rights to localize both Arc Rise Fantasia and Muramasa for NA releases before XSeed so they are left with Little King's Story and Fragile Dreams which to me are awesome games as well. It's good that now Ignition is not hogging anymore localization away from XSeed, now instead of no awesome games we actually got 6 awesome games that would had not been released here in NA w/o XSeed. Counting Xenoblade Chronicles and that's seven awesome games right there.
