How do I get MP3 playback? I never upgraded to 1.1 - it must've been part of those updates done when connected to the internet. Is there a way to downgrade?
Add the Mp3's to the root of your SD card then head into a slideshow inside the Photo Channel, press "A" to open up the pause menu and click the Options one IIRC. It will show you the current song playing and your Mp3's will be listed there.

Thanks for the faq. I need to get my Wii online so I can down load MM9 asap. I have a wall jack close to my wii so if I buy a cord and connect it.... Wait I have a cable modem. Will this work???

I have a question, everytime i go to register a friend code, it will allow me to do so, but the name of the person doesnt turn from its gray color, is there something wrong with my wii?

Further, any game with online play cant be copied unless the save is formated properly (which the uploader would have to do, it's out of your hands).

Is there more information about the multicolor dots and lines and the whole Fried GPU thing? What causes it, is it avoidable, my fault, their fault etc? Nintendo's tech support forum is useless.
Mine is definitely fried with my Wii menu's calendar looking like a rainbow(Amongst many other parts: in games, channels, everything)
I'm just waiting to cover my bases by getting an SD card for save back-up before sending it off to Nintendo. But I'd like to know more about the problem.

OK so I got Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and when i try to play it on my Wii, it displays the Nintendo Logo like it's supposed to, but then goes to a screen that says:
An error has occurred.
Turn the power off and refer to the
Nintendo Gamecube Instruction Booklet
for further instructions.
I do not have a memory card in because i had not bought one yet, but is a memory card required JUST to display the game's main screens? i have done all basic troubleshooting, so I'm not sure what else i should do . I don't have a gamecube instruction booklet to go off of and it's a new copy of the game. Any help is greatly appreciated
