Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Fear and Anticipation Trailer

*Sigh* Codemasters did not make the original game, Bohemia Interactive did. Codemasters only published it. This game will be nothing like OFP as it was made by a completely different dev team on a totally different engine.

Is this actual gameplay or pre-rendered?

Anyone else getting it for the PS3?

tdh i am a bit anoyed about the delays but it will be well worth it because i can tell this is going to blow mw2 and bc2 out of the water and if the ai is hard then atleast its realistic wer as cod wen u get shot just duck down for a bit and ur fine i got shot 27 times without dieng i just ducked behind cover and was fine allthough i found veteren quite a big chalenge i think this game will be like hard on normal so it will be very fun

Loving the heavy breathing as the adrenaline is pumping through his body and he's just rushing to stay alive. I hope it's like that in the actual game.

the only problem with the trailers of this game is that the game doesnt look that good when the camera is in 3rd person. its all choppy. first person looks amazing though. cant wait to get it if i have the money

I think this is the best war game, I think it's better than the 2 upcoming CoD and the upcoming BF: Bad Company 2, I can't wait to buy this game!!!!

no.. i think crytek ai is the hardest... though codemaster ai is hard too.. loved hte original!! hope this 1 looks good except the sound of the weapons

@mikesf. If you think Codemasters AI is tough, you obviously haven't played Killzone 2 on elite.

If you're on a stealth mission, you don't yell at the top of your voice, "Enter those buildings!" unless you've already been seen, which they hadn't.

Loved the PC original, and although i like GRAW, i still love R6 1&2 and COD4. However i hope this is a return to form for the definative 'Realistic' FPS.

If it's like any of the other Codemasters games, it'll be good. Their AI is the toughest I ever played against in 20+ years of gaming.

Looks like this could be a really fun game. Looks good in the trailer. Hopefully the A.I. is decent and the gameplay good, then I think it could definitely be a winner.

This is gonna be amazing,they seem to have brought it forward a month aswell(seeing as it said september not long back)this will destroy mw2 for realism,size of battles,vehicles and fun,i would nt under estimate it,the first one was a revalution

not again the release date was in may previously, then they delayed the date to september, and now, Codemasters just announced the game got another delay again, dont like delayed games unless it can proves that their gam is worth to wait. I hope operation flashpoint dragon rising is a game that wont let ppl down. Despite the game is delayed, Im looking foward to this sequel game

it's often very difficult to tell weather a game is going to be good by looking at the trailer. Take Legend for example. I thought that game was gonna kill. Boy! was I wrong. Anywho, still too early to tell. Definitely has potential though.

Looks interesting. I'm happy to see its on the PC as well, just hope its not a horrible port over. Definetly have to keep an eye out for it.

Graphics look brilliant. Yes the game does look a bit like COD4:MW but that is ok by me. I like the movement and breathing elements in this trailer and I hope the game is really that intense all the way through.

who isn't tired of this kind of game. Always the same thing. I'm bored of the realism the games now have. Why don't they just make a game like quake 3 arena or UT goty with no realism and 100 % fun

xxxdmonsterxxx cod4 and operation flashpoint are different games. The sequal to cod4 is modern warfare 2. No offence intended.

jeez that trailer was intense, hopefully the game can keep that tension going throughout the game

I will say.. audio was never Operation Flash's or even Arma's strong point. Like it was really obvious that they'd record all of these seperate words and then clump them into sentence and it just came out kinda silly. example.. "ENEMY... TANK... 3 O' CLOCK!" "ENEMY... SOLDIER... 12 O'CLOCK!" I am hoping the voice chatter gets a lot better than that lol. Anyone else remember your guys constantly seeing crap that wasn't even there? So many times playing operation flashpoint and i'd set up a map with maybe just infantry (no vehicles at all) and suddenly i hear someone say "ENEMY... HELICOPTER... 6 O'CLOCK!" and im like"uh wtf?" Anyways, hope all those little bugs get fixed up. I'll probably be buying this game. BTW I am not slamming the original operation flashpoint, it was really fun. I just thought the voice chatter was lame and some of the bugs were really funny.

bring it, gonna be a busy fall season.
