Aaron returns from sabbatical to explain why "sloppy seconds" aren't bad, Brian's call for a course creator in Tiger is finally heard (just not by EA), and Shanker explains the aerodynamics of his 56mph fastball. As always, Fred breaks down the news from across the sports gaming community, we share your emails and phone calls, and try to finish off 2008 with some correct picks for a change.

    FROM THE BLEACHERS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT SHANKER. I'm so sad. This was like one my favorite podcasts of all time, maybe even comparable to the old Hotspot. I can't believe this.

    Oh my God. I can't believe they let go 2 of some of the most important people that kept GameSpot crazy. There was an amazing setup on FromTheBleachers and The Lineup that was as close as it was ever going to get to the old HotSpot and OnTheSpot feeling we had back in the day and CBS threw it all in the trash. Good luck guys, you'll be surely missed.

    I'll say it again. GiantBalls is an aweful name for a Sports sister-site but you get my drift.
