GameSpot UK Community Game Night -- With ...

You have been calling for it, and we've missed it too...
Back, bigger, stronger, fitter, happier, more product... hang on. Anyway.
GSUK Community Gaming is making a comeback, and this week sees the first of our new-look nights. We're going to not only give you the chance to play with GameSpot staff, we're going to bring in a range of other people to play as well... exactly who will turn up as the weeks go by we're not sure, but rest assured that they'll be names, faces and voices that you'll be familiar with.
In this vein we're kicking things off this week with a particularly special gamenight. We're going to be running a few games of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 on both PS3 and Xbox 360 starting at 8pm London time on Thursday (that's April 17), and we're going to be joined by Jam, Kitt and Sarin of Ubisoft's very own UK Frag Dolls, who will no doubt show us all up!
If you want to play with us and with them, then all you need do is send me your GamerTag or PSN ID as soon as you can, make sure you're online at 8pm London time, an leave the rest to us!
Oh, and feel free to post in this thread with your appreciate comments, and suggestions for future guests.

Awesome! Ill send my gamertag to you Alex. I will probably join in, but get mowed down a lot due to me being pretty crap online (I don't even know the maps, apart from Villa)

Of all the games we could play it had to be Vegas, my 360 just died last week and I was getting grumpy that we didn't have any tournaments or competitions for ages...damn.

been meaning to play vegas 2 online i've not done much online gaming lately which is bad for me as im only good at cs:s oh well theres no shame in getting beaten by girls is there lads? everyone is this thread should agree cos there gona get beat too- Please wait. I wrote a mini poem to display my sheer joy at how the community game nights are back!
I'd like to join the game night but I do not have the skill, To find out I have run out of ammo and I can not get that kill.
I do not want to be shot and end up being phoned, to find out it's the GSUK team and the frag dolls screaming "Dude you were owned!"
Even so I don't have a console with RSV2 on it so I can avoid that ghastly scenario

AV parts & Consoles: 26inch LG LCD HDTV - 1080i, Sky HD, Dobly Pro logic Digital surround sound system. PS3, Xbox 360, PSPIt is a shame I cannot attend this because I work Thursday's. However if you ever chanced the date, than next Tuesday would suit me better.
Update
If the game night finishes at 10pm on Thursday, than I have a chance to turn up for the last 30 minutes. Because R6: Vegas 2 is one of those games, where I can get quick aims on.

- Apr 15, 2008 11:13 am GMTWell i just had my first extended session with the game online and i'm not happy i was on the CQB training map attack and defend and i was guarding the bomb and watching a dorr way when i realised i hadnt checked behind me i turn around theres an enemy i kill him and i get killed a hacker and kicked very annoying
