Latest Updates
Check out my GS blog for an update... I reveal why I have been absent, etc.
The union has obviously suffered... but there is nothing I can do or say about that... because real life, my son... had to come first.
I think it would be wise to find a new leader... after surviving what I have survived... well my priorities are a lot different.
If you are active and have any ideas, opinions, about the leadership change... please post.
You can recommend someone... but I don't want to turn this into... why I would make a good leader... because frankly I already have a couple of members in mind and I am not really interested in handing over the union to someone who is new or isn't that passionate about Fatal Frame. I think it should go to the ultimate Fatal Frame fan, someone who truly cares about it... the game, the genre... and who has the talents, the charisma to maintain it.
I will try to check in... but I work twelve hour shifts... my day to day real life is hectic.
If things don't evolve... I will probably just notify the person I have in mind... talk to them... and ask them if they feel they have the time for it. I am hopeful...
Much Love,
Michelle
The union is not coming to an end ![]()
I don't want it to fall, but I am dealing with serious family concerns and a major transition. When it is all over I will explain it to everyone. I just don't want to talk about it right now, believe me... you will understand why when it is over. I will also be moving and probably won't have internet access for awhile. I will probably go to the library once a week to update and check on you guys. You just have to trust me in this, there is nothing I can do right now... it is serious and I will explain more when I can...
Well it is a new year and a renewal of new hope for an up and coming Fatal Frame IV! Will we see a new Fatal Frame before the end of 2007?! We can dream... uh just hopefully not one of those dreams that reveals a serpent tattoo, ooooo (shivers)!
Featured Website: Souls at Zero
Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (PS2) fans will love this simple website. The design and personal fan touches are wonderful. The web designer really captures the overall feel of Fatal Frame, the ying and yang, the light and darkness. That is what I love about Fatal Frame fans they are so creative. Fatal Frame (video games in general) seems to inspire many people to develop their artistic skills, their ability to write and draw. Although many would describe it as a gothic Japanese horror genre, there is just so much beautiful humanity featured in every story. Fatal Frame fans know that the tragic stories of love and loss are a key element. However there always seems to be an ultimate lesson, a realization, a triumph for our main heroines at the end. Is it a dark, sad, fairytale... or is it a story of hope, love, letting go, and victory over ones inner turmoil, inner demons so to speak? You be the judge...
Seasons greetings Fatal Frame fans. It is a shock I know... "mrsxbox actually posted!" Due to ongoing personal problems I am still unable to be on GS very much. Once it is all over and I get settled, I certainly hope to return here, full force. I am sorry I can't give you an explanation right now, I just think it is a subject best kept off of GS... plus why bring my problems here, to an internet gamers safe haven? This website is about fun, enjoying each others company while discussing a common interest, gaming. I adore you all and hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year! May all your Christmas gaming wishes come true...

I have been looking all over the world wide web for any scoops or rumors about Fatal Frame IV. So far I can't find anything in 2006, only some old rumors from 2005. What have you heard? Have you found any information on the internet or elsewhere? If you see or find anything post it here. I am very curious, especially with PS3 coming out tomorrow. I think there is a good chance that it will be initially released on the PS3 even though there are also rumors of a possible release on the Wii. If you do some research you get a cookie, lol!
If you are wondering, "What’s up with this mrsxbox uh... Michelle chic?" If you are wondering why my updates are becoming less and less, I am beginning to get writers block, lol. I have posted so much here that I am starting to run out of things to say and update everyone on. I don't want to do those short meaningless updates just for the sake of it, so I am trying to find something that inspires me enough to inspire you to take an interest. I don't expect anyone to be interested if I just keep posting these meaningless little tidbits, but honestly my brain is fried over here. I am not going to give up however and I encourage you to message me and give me a swift kick when I need one. If you have any ideas feel free to express it or take the initiative to implement it.
I have returned and I will be updating regularly again ![]()
I need some time away, it is personal.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!: Please do not use any of my images. I made them myself and it took me a very long time! You can always visit The Sims 2 web exchange and create your own. I have proof these are mine, so please do not remove or take credit for any images posted here.
I am not and do not take credit for the custom parts used to create these Sims or the Pagoda. However, I did create the images and altered the Pagoda significantly in order to suite my needs. Only the 1st floor of the Pagoda is the original; floors 2, 3, 4, and 5 were designed by me. You can easily find many of these items at the official website.

Picture 1: Introducing my first Sim, Kimiko Osaka. She is a lovely Japanese business woman. She is dressed in a formal red kimono and resides at the Crimson Cafe, a restaurant she owns in Japan (the name of my neighborhood). The name "Crimson Cafe" comes from the "red" Pagoda and Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (PS2). This is a cameo image I made of Kimi because I think she is simply breath taking. Plus Kimiko is my first Sim, so she is special.
Her first name means "noble child" or "truth child" in Japanese. Her last name was inspired by the mysterious Osaka family in Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (PS2).

Picture 2: Here is Kimiko in front of her residence, The Crimson Cafe. It is a close up shot... that I just adore. She is barely a day old here, lol. Look at the lovely "V" shaped sparkle on her forehead. Couldn't you just die?! Notice her feminine dark hair style, gently pulled back, the light powder on her face, the subtle Asian eye, the bright red lipstick, and the formal kimono. She is just perfect...

Picture 3: Here is a full body shot of Kimiko so that you can appreciate her lovely kimono.

Picture 4: Here is her home, The Crimson Cafe. Be patient because the image is animated and will change. There is a full view of the red Pagoda, which is five stories high. Then there are two shots of the first floor restaurant, this is how she earns her income. There is also two shots of the second floor private living quarters, this is where Kimiko lives. The third and fourth floor are vacant just in case her family grows. Even the roof is being utilized! I keep the less attractive items there, that Kimiko really needs. I also consider that "a hot social spot." There is a hot tub, a pin ball game, a telescope, a buffet, exercise equipment, a bar, and other social odds and ends, lol.

Picture 5: This is a picture of Toyo Zen who I have decided is Kimiko's "love interest," lol. He is a wealthy sim that came with a Zen style home I downloaded at the exchange. I didn't even know he lived there, lol. I was pleased as punch to see him drop by and later found out he is worth millions, roflmao. Not that Kimiko is a gold digger mind you, hehe. I just thought it was cool, meant to be, so to speak... for several reasons. One, I didn't even know that he came with the Zen Garden style home, two I was just about to go in search of a Japanese sim at the exchange when he came strolling by, third I like his appearance and attire, they suite Kimiko fine, and finally I am curious what their little Sims would look like (roll).

Picture 6: I am obsessed with sim kimonos and I probably have every one that is available at the exchange. I just think they are so perfect for the type of Sims and storylines I want to create. There are nine featured in this picture but I probably have close to 100! Notice the second kimono Fatal Frame fans, yes... that is Sae Kurosawa's bloody kimono from Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (PS2), woo hoo!

Fatal Frame fans can take their obsession even further, to a whole new level, by expanding their collection to include antique cameras! Every Fatal Frame fan will see and understand the connection. Antique cameras range from super cheap, a few dollars, to rare thousand dollar finds! Just think how cute your collection will be if it includes at least one antique camera, hidden amongst all your Fatal fanatic goodies. Do your research though and don't get ripped off! I am not recommending any auction site to you, they all have their risks. I am only providing some examples so that you are able to see the wide variety of vintage cameras available to you online. Compare these images with the famous Camera Obscura ![]()
