For those of you who haven't witnessed the footage of the upcoming title Legendary, you better start looking. Created by Spark, Legendary presents a whole new AI system compared to other shooters out there. This time, the AI actually learns from you. In recent gameplay footage, you are able to release Alphas which are strong versions of your average werewolf which climb and jump and bite. The great thing about this AI is that the enemies won't sit there and take your shots! At the same time, Legendary is presenting a deep step into the horror/suspense/action shooters which is coming out on September 30. Check it out.

The HGU now has a new look. Sporting a green base, we now have a new banner, and new Leader. Officer, and Recruit tags. the first three were made by Ninja_Rebel, the other three, by me.. I expect to see more poeple using the tags. Especially the Officers. This will increase awareness about the HGU.

Also, the HGU has teamed up with, IMO, one of the most helpfull unions on GS. The Signature and Tag Making Team. They are our first official affiliates so go check them out. If you want to learn to make graphics, the STMT will help you get there. There will be a new stickied topic to give a link to the union.
Thankyou for those of you who read this. Keep on being active in the union.

In the light of how active and populated the HGU is, I am pleased to tell you that the union will be hosting tournaments very soon. I feel that this will be a great thing for everyone in the HGU to get together and play some games.
I need some ideas for what games you all want to compete in. I am thinking, Team Fortress 2, SSBB, and Guitar Hero 3. If you would like to compete in other games, just leave a comment saying which one.
And on that note, I would like to tell you that there are some officer slots open for those who help to host game tounaments. If you have a PS3, XBox360, or a Wii and have some Online Multiplayer games, you can become an officer. All you have to do is host tournaments from time to time. All the officers will discuss the game, date, and time prior to hosting the tournaments. Don't worry, its easier than it sounds.
Thank you all for being such active members. I hope this gets up and running real soon because I am totally looking forward to it.

It was only less than a week ago, that the union passed the 100 members mark.
Think that was an accomplishment? Well, not any more it's not! In less than a weeks time, the number of union members, has doubled. We are now at 200 members. isnt this great everyone? I sure think so.
Thank you to every one who helped make this possible. I really appreciate it a whole lot.

The biggest thing for gamers in E3 is the games. As each passing year, E3 has been providing us with open-ended presentations of upcoming titles by the developers themselves. This is a great thing about E3 but, of course, it's the games that make it good. A question that has to be asked is: Did the games do it this year? This time around, the answer is a bit of a yes and no. Compared to last year's E3, 2008 brings us games that are more around installments or recreations. That doesn't necessarily mean there weren't any new ideas coming up but more to the extent that developers are just working on sequels - you get the idea
So, this time around it's time to tell you guys what games shown this year weregood and bad. Keep in mind that these will seem fairly subjective to opinion but keep in mind that I try to be as fair as possible with the games themselves. The score of hype will be from 1 to 5 from 1 being the least anticipating to 5 being the "Buy-it-when-it-releases" hype. I'm a very picky gamer but I have justified reasons for this. Since these upcoming sequels are all installments of games I've enjoyed or played, this will be very easy! (Measured in Bruce Campbell Emblems!)
We can do this in a couple of ways.
Tell your freinds about the HGU
Make a recruitment topic
Make/Use Banners and or union tags
Be an active contributer
Lets make this union the best on Gamespot! Every member's help is needed, wanted, and appreciated. Keep up the good work guys and girls!
