The union is probably at it's most active state this year right now. We have plenty of active threads now and our members are more and more active by the day (I can attest to that, the # of new posts in a thread have increased each day). The two most popular games in the union for months now have finally come out. Empire Total War and Dawn of War 2.

Today marks the first anniversary of the unions birth. It has come a long way over the last year with over 50,000 views and 300 members.

We have now hit the 150 member milestone! I would also like to thank Ali, as has been a great help by inviting lots of people to the union.

We also passed a humongous 23k views. However, I would like it if some of us created more of an appeal to join the union than to participate in the "post about the user above you" and "Face Off" threads.
All right, since we haven't had one of these in months, I'm going to make one just so all you guys don't die of boredom. This union hasn't been very active lately, so I hope some people take the initiative to make it a more interesting internet environment.
We've got nearly 125 members (1 short) and 17, 500 (few hundred short) views. If you do occasional mass-recruits like I do (last night, I invited like 3 dozen), that number gets bigger and bigger, depending on how many you recruit.
And just to make this update look a little bigger....

We've got over a hundred members now. And almost 15, 000 views.You wto help the union get even more popular? Well, you can help by sending invites to people you know who are interested in RTS games. Note, RTS =/= entire Strategy genre, so unless your invitee likes RTS games (doesn't matter what other genres he/she likes) then don't bother inviting him/her.
To find such people, your best chance would be searching the PC games forum, the General Games forum, other RTS boards, and the boards for RTS games listed on GS. Don't go inviting Gamefaqers, though.
Also, Warhammer 40, 000: Dawn of War 2 has been announced for release in early 2009. Now, that's plenty of time to wait for cheaper hardware, so don't upgrade your PC just yet. Admittedly, I don't know a single RTS fan who hasn't heard of DoW2 yet, but I'm just posting this mostly because I like DoW.

Another milestone we now have 90 members, thanks to everyone who has been active and posting in the union. Keep up the good work! 
If you haven't already it would help the union greatly if you invited some friends. 
Officer activity of late hasn't been great so when I take-up my position of leader again some demotions may be in order unless changes are made.
Soon a new banner and tags will be up hopefully, and should be a big improvement on the current ones.
