UT 3 was released today in Germany.
According to people that have played it, it still has many bugs like UT3 demo had. I would say that the reason why is there so many complains is that everyone was waiting or this game so long, and now they are watching on every little detail. But, here's the thread on official epic's fourm so you can see few screens:
And here's a little list of complaints put together:
I hope to see your opinions on our board, fell free to post...

PS3 UT3 officially pushed to '08, new MK revealed:
Development issues cost Sony a major holiday console exclusive, though Epic says it is trying to finish the title by year's end; Midway announces new fighter, Blitz game.
Last month, Epic Games president Mark Rein cautioned fans that a November release for Unreal Tournament 3 on the PlayStation 3 and PC was just a target and not a certainty. Epic appears to have missed the target with the PS3 edition of the game: Publisher Midway today announced that it expects that it won't ship that version of the game until the first quarter of 2008.
The warning comes in spite of a statement from Rein late Tuesday saying that the studio is still toiling to get the PS3 UT3 completed by year's end. However, Midway president and CEO David Zucker said in an investor conference call that any delay will not affect the PC edition, which is still set to release in early November.

GC '07: Unreal Tournament III Hands-On
Leipzig, Germany -- A new multiplayer mode Warfare has been shown on this years Leipzig Games Convention
" We just got our hands on Unreal Tournament III at the Leipzig Games Convention 2007 and experienced a new multiplayer match type known as Warfare. We also experienced all the chaos and excitement contained in a Warfare match, wherein each side attempts to destroy the other's base. There isn't anything too complex about that, but before you can deal that final blow, you must execute a series of other blows by capturing nodes. When possessed, these nodes will render the enemy base vulnerable."

Sony locks down console exclusivity until next year; PS3 version will ship with map editor months before 360 version.
CULVER CITY, Calif.--Epic Games literally has the best of both worlds. The North Carolina-based developer made headlines at last night's Microsoft press event by announcing that Gears of War, its blockbuster Xbox 360 shooter, is coming to the PC with five new single-player campaign levels and a map editor.

The team over at BeyondUnreal.com got to play a hands-on test of Unreal Tournament 3. Other than it made us all extremely jealous, it gave us much informations about the game and the actual gameplay (and how it feels, instead of just trailers). BeyondUnreal.com posted a lenghty article of their experience from the game, as well as gave us list of some weapons and vehicles that will be in the game.
If someone doesn't want to read the whole article, I will summarize is for you here. It seems that there will be two teams in team-based games, Axon and Necris, both differing one from another, mostly visually. They will both have their sets of vehicles. Axon will have standard vehicles as we got used to in UT 2004; Goliath, Hellbender, Scorpion and Manta (first thee get upgraded weaponry). Necris on the other hand will have Dark Walker (tall tripod, very deadly), Nemesis (pretty much a tank) and Viper (Manta's counterpart). Also, both sides will have access to hoverboards (conveniently activated with Q button), that will probably be available only for certain game types.
Weapons that were in the test were all very similar to UT 2004's, except for the amazing visual upgrades. There are some changes though, as now we have Enforcers back instead of the Assault Rifle, better lock-on with the Rocket Launcher, faster primary fire with the Link Gun etc..
How does it feel? Well, we still have double-jumps and wall-dodges, but it seems that they won't be much of use. Jumps and dodges are lower and characters are bigger and easier to hit. Visually, as we all know, UT 3 is very impressive, as well as with physics. One good thing to mention is the new level streaming system that will load new map in matter of seconds.
So, it will and won't be different that it's predecessors. All in all, we can't wait for it. Until then, us mortals will have to satisfy with the informations we get.

Unreal Tournament III - Name change, New platform, Multiplayer carnage...
Epic games and Midway announced some major changes regarding Unreal Tournament 2007. First of all Unreal Tournament 2007 is not more called that, now it's called Unreal Tournament III.
Why the change? As Epic vice president Mark Rein explained, it's the
third generation of Unreal Tournament that uses the third generation of
the Unreal engine technology. The "III" is also appropriate considering
that the game is also now going to be released on three platforms (not only on PC, PS3, but also on XBox 360).
There's going to be much more of a single-player element to Unreal
Tournament III than in the previous iterations of the series, which
were always primarily multiplayer focused, but not as good as in Gears of War.
Unreal Tournament III looks great, and we can't wait for it to ship.
However, in classic Epic style, no release date has been announced, as
the game is done "when it's done." Though Epic is hoping to get it out
sometime in the second half of the year, if the company feels it needs
to delay the game, it won't hesitate to do so.

''Gears of War is an outstanding technical achievement, but in addition
to looking and sounding amazing, it's a seriously awesome action game.'' - Gamespot
Finally the game is out and everyone seems to love it. GameSpot reviewed it and gave the score of 9.6 (superb). It's only for Xbox 360 for now, but since Epic Games is developer, this is also our news.
''Gears of War is a game that capitalizes on all of the promises made by
the next generation of gaming. It looks more than a few steps beyond
what consoles have been doing to this point, and the gameplay is
supremely fulfilling from start to finish in all of its various modes.
While there have certainly been plenty of similar shooters before it,
the game's great weapons, amazing graphics, and absolutely thrilling
action make it stand out from the pack in a big, big way.'' - GameSpot
