Hi guys welcome to the big debate
This year 40 game characters from a wide range of systems have been put in, I know some of you maybe disappointed with some characters that may or may not be in this years big debate, so I apologise for that. There were so many too choose from and I didn’t want to overcrowd it, otherwise we would be here all year lol.
The rules are fairly simple each user places their vote in the comment box of the blog, I like to do it this way so that users know there is no cheating involved, I personally do not vote since I chose the characters. So you just place your vote in the comment box by saying who you want out, you are reminded that you can vote for two people you want out but please write them in one go. After you have voted for the two characters you may not vote again till the next round unless there is a tie. Every four days 3 characters are taken out and the next round begins where you vote again. This carries on till there are four characters left, one of which will be crowned the winner of the game for this year. Since last years winner of the big debate was prince of Persia, he gets to be in the game again.
I have divided everyone up in the union and you have probably received a pm from the officer who will be in charge of you, they will email to update the voters on who was chucked out and that the next round has began. So any questions please feel free to pm them or me if you want. Ok happy voting.
Remember you get to vote for two characters who you are wanting out of the big debate house! Also I would like it if you can add urself to the introduction thread just so everyone knows a bit about you and if you want to discuss anything about the game please use the thread allocated in this union and not the voting comment boxes.
Oh and before I go, all gamespot rules apply so make sure you read what you post, anything we do not like we will remove it so no fighting.

Greetings Paradise Islanders,
I have some exciting and wonderful news to share with everyone. Let me start by announcing the promotion of one of great members and contributers to Officer, ThaSod. ThaSod has consistently helped Paradise Island succeed by leading by example and by becoming one of our main contributors. Thank you again for accepting my invitation, I'm confident you'll do great!
Now, for everyone else that is interested in becoming an Officer, here's what we're going to do:
We're going to run a little competition. The rules are simple, the person(s) whorecruit the most new people get promoted. When you send an ivite to some one, and they accept your invitation, you will get a reply msg back saying that your invitation was accepted. Just copy and paste the automated msg and send it to me and I'll track them. The competition will run for the next two weeks , ending 23:59 EST (eastern Standard Time) on 9/24/2007.
