"Solid"
Being a simple beat 'em' up shooter is what makes this game so great. You play this game, you are going to kill things. It's one of the only shooter were all you do is fight that is enjoyable, and dose not get boring after you have killed 10 or 20 demons.

So the story is you get in a car wreck and die. You end up in Purgatory and God sends an angel to you. You are offered your life back if you hunt down and kill the dukes of Hell. The story of the game is okay, but not great. You get one cinematic after every 5 levels or so.

As for Game play as I said earlier it's a beat 'em' up shooter. The weapons you get are just vicious. On shoots wooden stakes and often pins the unfortunate demon to the wall. Often producing a gruesome yet pleasing effect. You have a compass always pointing you to were you need to go. So you don't waist time walking around aimlessly, and get to each fight all the better. The quick saves are often so you don't always have to stop and save yourself. The game play, fighting, and chain reactions you get in this game are very solid and few glitches.

The look of the game is rather unique. It's almost random at time. One level you will mow down cultists is a cathedral. Another you will run through an asylum killing possessed looking patients, and prisoners. It always leaves you wondering what and were you will be next.

The boss fights give a moderate challenge, and are very impressive. There are few games that match this one in the size of the bosses. They are so massive. One will swing it's are from an extremely long distance and easily hit you. They use a wide range of powers and provide you the challenge of adapting to the situation.

Another interesting feature in this game is the tarot card. At each level you can unlock a tarot card the gives you a special bonus to you fights. To unlock the card you must accomplish a certain task set for each level. Such as get max amount of coins in level or kill all monsters will only one kind of gun.

The only thing about this game I could think of that I don't like is it sometimes get a little repetitive. Although it rarely dose since it is so well put together. So I would recommend buying this game. Thank you. :)
