Paper Mario: Sticker Star User Review
Paper Mario on the 3DS sounded like a perfect match but the execution and Sticker gimmick ruin it.

- "Disappointing"
When I first heard about this game on the 3DS I thought a game that has massive potential to deliver because of the overall structure of the series with the paper aspect and the 3D effect but to be honest it hard adds anything.
Story
There are theser Royal Stickers scattered around about 6 worlds and Mario has to collect theme all and stop Bowser and find again. Hardly original in Mario terms.
Gameplay
Unlike previous entries in the series the game has an overworld structure similar to like Super Mario World and whilst it does become easy to travel it can make the game maybe a bit on the easy side because stickers will return if you got them before. There are numerous stickers from like Scissors to Fireflowers to Hammers and various stuff. Also at the end of each act there is a mini boss and at the end of the world there's a main boss which has massive amounts of HP. These battles can be a pain espically if you don't have stickers that fill more than one slot because they do alot of damage.
Another key fact is that unlike the other games you have no partner to help you in battle because in the predesscors they helped with plenty of puzzles and also possessed some very useful attacks. Another thing is after each battle you don't don't get Star Points like you did in the first 2 games in the series. Your HP does go up for a while but the game seems to be more focused on the Stickers. Some of them are cool ideas but after about a few battles your gonna grow tired of them.
Presentation
The game as always looks amazing the characters look as you'd expect and the music has always been memorable from the Mario series but this one lacks the brilliance of songs from recent entries in the series. Also the series does seem to lack the humor or prior entries in the series.
Lastability
About a 15 to 20 hour game but to be honest it's not one of those games you'll come back to.
Overall Opinion
Paper Mario Sticker Star had massive potential to be a smash hit on the 3DS but it is a big dissapointment. The stickers are a nice idea but they also hurt the game at the same time. The combat isn't that interesting and you will be wondering for somne battles why should I fight the enemy. A massive letdown considering previous entries in the series.
Overall Opinion 6.5

Paper Mario: Sticker Star's visuals and music do not make up for its lack of story.

While not as good as other Paper Marios, this one does have a way of ahem "sticking" to you.

Paper Mario: Sticker is a fun game, but at the same time it feels unsatisfying in comparison with previous entries.

It's too bad that such a beautiful looking game can feel lacking in both gameplay and content

I realised that Bowser Corrupting had TERRIBLE Quality.Since it was so long it would take alot of space.I shrunk the video to 100 MB (So I could upload it) And it messed up the quality. I'm making these with MUCH better quality. Part 1/3Posted Jan 3, 2008
