    ok- wierd, tried to dwnload the patch and the first time it asked me to register... (all ready a member) and now all i get is the .pdf game guide?

    600 MB for Widescreen support....heck ya. Totally worth it. Then again downloading at 1200k/sec doesn't hurt either.

    its a full patch... i appreciate it, keeps me from having to download all 7 from that past 2 years... and alot of the size is about the maps for multi.

    600 MB is just crazy for a patch - that should tell you something about how the qa was shortened on this puppy. released before it was working. too busy sending the developers onto Fear 2 to fix release 1 I bet.

    Why don't you just open the game and use the auto update feature? It downloads only the stuff you need to get the game up to date. This patch is for going from version 1.0 to 1.8 and everything in between. Also, don't forget that this map contains new maps for multiplayer.

    yea there is a lot more gamers playing on the pc cuz u know way cuz the pc is better then a xbox360 and like me i can afford highend gameing pc that is why

    Geezuz man!!! This is a huge patch, I'll have to give it a miss, here in south africa, 600mb is alot to download for damn patch! (we have bandwidth issues)
