    disappointing,disappointing,disappointing!
The original FEAR was one of my favorite games of all time, with some of the best enemy AI and gameplay, great graphics and decent story with some good scares! They obviously dumbed it down for the console crowd. Its far too easy on socalled HARD difficulty making slo-mo a useless gimmick(I play all my games on HARD difficulty, cuz most games are too easy),has too many health packs which for some reason can be seen through the walls (same for ammo and other pick-ups) ,no saving anywhere(its supposed to be a PC game),and useless acheivments which do nothing to enhance the game! If I wanted to play console games, I ll buy an xbox! Monolith, which at one time made some great games, have been infected with consolitis, like so many other former great game developers, and is now on my no-buy list!
What do I have to do, learn to make my own PC games?

This game is pure console port trash at its worst. Go read the steam forum and see what people really think. Don't bother with their official forum which is heavily censored where any criticism of the game will result in members being banned. Sales for this game on the pc AND the consoles are poor and deserves it. Instead of adding more DLC map packs and making stupid music videos how about adding server files and anticheat software. While you're at it fix all those other problems on the pc. And what the hell is with the glowing enemies? They look like a$$. Can't even use slow motion anymore because it hurts my eyes to see such ugliness. AI is retarded as well. And where's mouse support or the ability to lean around corners like in the original? Damn shame. Monolith use to be a reputable and reliable pc game developer and now it has turned into another cookie cutter console maker for the casual Wii crowd. The three patches that came out were to fix obvious problems on the pc which shouldn't have even been present to begin with such as fixed 16:9 aspect ratio. Game was obviously never test with pc gamers or even fans of the original game. Game sucked balls! Wins prize as the most disappointing game of the decade.

Monolith, you would do well to increase community support rather than charging for maps for a multiplayer game hardly anyone plays.
