    Every post-apocalyptic game can be compared to Fallout, like Fallout can be compared to movies like Mad Max, Six String Samurai, Postman, etc.

    nice......borderlands with realistic graphics. Should be good. Side note: I love borderlands graphics.

    Omg, this game looks aswesome, can't wait to get it! I makes me think about Halo in a free world, I mean the car fighting and the shooting syste!

    I can't get enough of post-apocalyptic settings and stories.
    Not a big fan of either FPS or racing, but this looks just too awesome!

    I like the way Gamespot have this tagged as a modern shooter. What part of this game exactly is representative of the real world??? Anyway, game looks freakin awesome and I can't wait for a release announcement.

    I've been tracking this game for awhile, now with the vid and the article in the Nov. issue of XBOX Mag. I can't wait for this game to come out, it looks awesome, and yes it does sound a lot like FO3, but I love that game. Bring on the post-apocalypse!!

    @ anyone who thinks this is fallout 3- this and FO3 were started around the same time but becuase of the technique id use it takes longer to make and besides this is about a astroid hitting earth, not nukes.
    this game looks, and is gonna be, amazing

    Well there are actually a lot of games and movies based around the apocalypse if you want to start the whole "this copied that" thing. This games looks good to me.

    I don't think I like the giant mutant at the end of this clip. I hope it's not going to be one of those end-boss style games where it takes 100 shots to the head with an AK47 to kill a giant mutant with a kevlar brain box. If I shoot something in the eye I'm pretty sure it should be dead or at the very least, bleeding to death.

    ID Software is the alltime masters of FPS games, let's not forget it was them who made the original Wolfenstein and DOOM.
    Half - Life was made on a heavily modified Quake II engine, Unreal was also made on a heavily modofied Quake III engine, anyone who doubts ID are fools, ID makes better games than your 16 year old babysitter games like Halo......

    In short, Don't dis ID, we stand by our heroes here......

    Someone is comparing this to Half-Life 2?? As if that is a bad thing if that was even valid. I guess they never played that because there wasn't a whole lot of combat involved with the vehicle, nowhere near as involving as it apparently is with this game.

    Your "longtime gaming experience" makes you "too old to even write a comment" on Half-Life 2? That was the 2005 Game of the Year, I think. If 'four years ago' is old, you are incredibly old indeed.

    You'd think within your lifetime you could learn to articulate a thought a bit better. I'm not sure I understand your beef. People shouldn't play the game because it combines a FPS with Racing? Twisted Metal and Unreal Tournament pre-date HL2. Your solution is to play a FPS(CounterStrike) and then a Racing game(DIRT2) very quickly together so you can fool your under-used brain into thinking it's the same game?

    Your command of the english language is daunting.

    Nahh Just a stupid Game , same Idea as Halflife2, so hmm Nothing new, or original, But Looks amazing, But hey we are writing 2009, so graphics as talent animation isn't enough.. What a waste of a brilliant team work.. Buy buy or should i rather say bye bye.. It's a waste of Money guys, there are lots of better titles out there, just wait and you are batter off, I would trather buy at killer FS game, and a great driving game, which is not hard to find these days, just wait for GT5 - DIRT2 and NFS shift.. I rather spend time and money on CS and GT5, thats the best anyways, LOL I know.. Lots of thumbs down for me, but I'm just being honest to my longtime gaming experience.. Dream extreme

    man u guys r all wack. this game looks incredible.. say what you want about fallout 3 but i couldn't finish the game. you all know that the actual combat in the game wuz straight WACK and awkward. ID pretty much invented the first person shooter so just kick back wait for it to come out and get ready to MAKE HATE on a wayyy better game. can't wait to RAGE!

    It looks like another ID Software game. I'll bet you the game play has zero innovation. It will be just another poorly executed story drowned in 15 year old game play. Rent... maybe.

    lol.. since the fallout has been released, people will think fallout wenever they hear a wasteland or mutants. wel, the fallout game was good.. so this will probably be good too, maybe even with a twist and a surprise.

    trailer looks nice so far..... but..... wastelands? mutants? zombies? seriously, it's like fallout 3, just as a first person shooter version, very original..... -.-
    the cars fly around like some sort of paper plane, awful.....

    I for one was disappointed in Fallout, the combat mechanics were too slow for me. The whole game was too slow and too boring. So far this game looks better, more interesting and above all faster. I'm looking forward to this, I hope we're not disappointed.
