    It was a cool game, but it is also a disappointment as a PoP game. The plaforming is still cool, but combat and story turned me off a bit. Just too much magic for my taste. And no persians (unless they save it for the sequel where it shows where the Prince is from)? It should've had a different name. It is a good game for what it is, but it's no PoP.

    the game looks top notch on big HD tv on ps3, ...not so much if your pc cant run it at max settings

    The easy difficulty really ruined this game for me. Sure it has beautiful animations and scenery, and fun puzzles, but the fact that you always re-spawn 5 seconds away from where you started, and fights are incredibly easy, makes playing the game feel so pointless for me

    Looks fantastic but of course I am a huge fan of the darker looking pop games, though i'll play it eventually

    not that it bothers me but i was really suprised that this game was only PG. the others have all been bloody and violent but this game still looks cool

    Just got done wiht this and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. It didnt take that long but it was very fun. Now i may have to get the DLC and see what thats all about.

    wanted to check this out until i learned how easy it was. you can't even die?

    anyways, i really liked sands of time, the two sequels kind of strayed and i was hoping this would be return... i might try this sometime, hopefully my gut instinct will be proven wrong and this will be a good game.

    Dying in games just adds the nuisance of having to reload from the last save. POP takes away that nuisance so you can have a continuous play through without any interruptions from a loading screen. It doesn't have anything to do with catering to the casual players. Imagine how many jumps and wall runs there are in this game. An accidental press of a button can send you falling to your death. If you actually "died" imagine having to reload hundreds of times just because you missed a jump.

    a game that you cannot die is just for laughs......just how awfully easy can games be for casual players????are they so dumb that they need so easy games?

    I was a tiny bit dissapointed since Prince of Persia is meant to be a violent and dark platformer with a lot of action, but this seems to be more of a less action-packed game. Apart from that, it's great due to it's own individual elements.

    he talks about elika returning you to a check point when you fall down rather than letting you die as a bad thing,,,isnt returning to a check point what death does to you in most games anyway? :S. . .

    it's the most beautiful game i've played.. it's kinda repetitive.. but the combat, visuals and animations won me over.. i loved it

    This game is actually great! The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fun. The lack of death actually is great. Why? Most games today let you save ANYWHERE. So all POP's system does is removes the annoying loading after death. But the real reason why this game is so great is the story and the characters. You really feel connected and the game makes you understand the emotional journey that Prince goes through and why he does what he does at the end. Also the witty banter between him and Elika is so well-written. You can see them slowly falling for each other. The script is phenomonial!

    well in almost no games do you actually die as these deaths are never permament. in most games you just respawn to checkpoints

    Its actually a lot of fun to play. this is my 1st PoP game! the others never really caught my attention.

    The environments are nice looking and all but there seems to be way too much wandering around doing the same thing over, and over, and over again.

    goddamit! firts it was half life, then bioshock, and now this! AWESOME game, its to diferent from the sands of time and thas is good (im not saing that i dont like the sands of time saga), and i normaly hate happy endings but for this new saga i realy want one! just because of the relation betewen the prince and elika. Lokin asions tho the sequel!

    Hey if I want to get the Prince of Persia: Epilogue DLC, where do I get it??
    Tell me as soon as possible, just got done with the Prince of Persia game and I want to finish it with the Epilogue.

    I purchased this game 2 weeks ago and finally decided to play it. Surprisingly fun! I like everything about it. I'm 3/4 done and i'm writting this after playing it for 6 hours straight. So far I've spent 13+ hours in it to search around to get all the orbs and powers. Usually, in other games I tend to forget many power ups and get straight to the point, clearing the game. Well, idk why but in this one I'm motivated to search. Everything is good, get it.

    This game looks very good, but it's probably worth only 30 bucks just because it doesn't look like it has great replay value.
