And where are the dragons... . Concerning graphics I find it a bit out of focus and the contrast and shades highlight nothing making it somewhat brighter or darker in the wrong times . But I expect that every RPG fan to overcome that.

Uh....so you can have a dog as a party leader?

sissy brits??? 2 things you should look up before you say that; Snatch the movie and the SAS.

Overall, I am looking forward to the game but I hope the graphics get a bit f an update

I love how people consider British to be "Sissy", seeing how the British only conquered most of the known world. What ever. The king is SUPPOSED to have a pretencious, over confident, kind of whiney voice. The voice acting I have seen in here is fine, I dont want american accents in my fantasy games. Everything I have seen from Dragon Age has me pretty darn excited. Oh, and maybe some of the voices were "sissy" because a few of the characters were cowardly backing away from battle and they actually had some personality? Instead of being just the normal blank "Rawr me hero me crush" type?

For every game there is flaws. Who cares about the voices in the game? People should care about what the character says in the game. To me, this game looks BA.

They look fine, but why do they all have sissy voice?

  • BleedingBadger

    Posted Feb 21, 2009 1:58 pm GMT

    The game is looking great.

lebman69 give me a break. P.S. If you read the lore you would know there aren't many dragons in dragon age... and magic is nearly extinct.

Voices are very weak for the characters. Sissy British accents don't work with massive brutes in a world of war. maybe more manly Brits should take to the mics. The rendering looks good but hard on the eyes, a lot of movement and bad animation in combat makes the game look boring and not really worth playing. I saw 1 dragon and it looks really bad. Purple? Monsters are cool but reminds me of WoW which isn't good at all. I'd love to play this game if there was more to it. Never bring in a dog as a character to fight just shows lack of creativity in a world of magic...a dog comes to fight with you... If you want to talk origins read up on DnD. This looks like a rip of other games and movies. Postpone the game its not ready at all I'm sorry, I hope the developers read our comments it be nice to know our feedback is important :-)

hmm this seems like the kinda game you'd wanna play with the sound off, the voice acting is kinda cheesy and the gameplay looks pretty monotenous, but mite get it when its cheap coz the story looks alrite

I'm very pleased with how this game looks to be coming along. It is yet another that I now can't wait to play.

Please oblivion is over rated. It was so vast and... empty. I got bored with it in all honesty. I'm glad to see bioware going back to their roots like this, baldur's gate and neverwinter nights were amazing and deep games.

Boring... Why should anyone play this instead playing an MMO?

    Oblivion ftw!!!!!

You actually have a hound as a party member? That's pathetic... And why is it that you always have to fight huge, ugly, evil creatures?

All the comments about this game being being slow paced and looking the witcher or some other rpg...this is suppose to be a spiritual successor to baldur's gate ( the one on pc not the hack and slash one mind ye), so the fighting system will probably be more strategic and slow pace...if ye want fast pace then just wait for D3... Oh and the game look marvelous...although male characaters everywhere is a little bit freaky...where are the ladies that made these men's alive??

you cant rate a game, when it is still in production, and we are talking about bioware here, the kings of RPG storytelling. that is enough to sell a million copies. thats all i needed to know to want to buy this game.

I love my stat crunching RPGs, namely Morrowind (f@*k oblivion i got bored of that after being told to go into a gate for like the 6th time) and Baldurs Gate, but this looks a bit... meh

The combat seemed a little clunky, just slow and uninteresting, as well as the scenery being bland and very dark. For a game now being released at the end of 2009, the've gotta do something more than a mix of what looked a bit like a cr@ppy oblivion and neverwinter nights crossover.

the interview attached to this video mentions at least one other female party member - a shapechanging witch named morrigan. i'm glad since that crusty old wynne looks like a horrible romance option.

It seens to be a good game. But Assassins Creed gameplay for fights is the best in the recent games. I hope they will launch a RPG with that gameplay some day...

in this trailer i saw alot of them is indoor fighting(dungeon) and the slow paste fighting looks more to a turn base style....and a dark vids too
maybe it have alot of improvement and new things still hiden...but anyways lets see how its turn out...hopes its not a heart breaker......
:-BDL91=Looks alot Like the Witcher kind of gameplay

The character faces look a bit like they do on oblivion, but it looks like a mmorpg, which i dont think it is, so finally a game which looks good which you dont have to pay for! i dont mind having to wait for it because it was probably tested so and found that it may have been a bit glitchy. I REALLY CAN NOT WAIT TO BECOME A DOG!!!!!! I am gonna buy the game just to be a dog

Sooo excited. Graphics are pretty good, the monsters look tight, the characters seem to be interesting, and it has great voice acting from what I can hear. All I know is this announcement made me reinstall BG2: TOB, and I am now more excited than ever. Bring on Dragon Age!

graphics are good but I don't feel like playing as it gives me the sense of viking. The hit feeling isn't strong enough and heroes seem to be a little bit clumsy in fight.

Hopefully this game has a good and stable frame rate, did you see all of them ppl in them fights...thats probly why they had to tone down the graphics, so it would lag like hell, CANT WAIT
