    poor AI? what gameplay video did you watch? where did they demonstrate their AI at all? that and they actually have exactly the right idea with where they are going? in fact, the series will be taking some of the game's ideas and using them in the series. the two plan to develop their story-lines together (which is the first time something like that has ever been done from what I hear). quit pissing and moaning before you know what you're talking about.

    its still in development, far from release, and they're on the right track.

    i think it looks pretty good but the graphics look to good for my comp, that is the main reason i like wow the graphics aren't overwhelming so u can still play on lowend comps. i think that is part of why somany people play it but im not gonna complain the eta is 09 so i could have a new comp.but other than that it look great for it's early stages

    It seems nice! I big fan of the series, and i have been beta testing. and its nice. The sounds are like taking out of the series. The graphics could be better but, if the gameplay lives up to it that is fine by me

    Oh man, this looks awful to say the least. I just saw the latest screens as well, and I'm so dissapointed! :-( I mean, the graphics are so lame! The textures look terrible and the character models look like they just jumped out of Quake 2 or something. This is just sad...

    The machine gun sounds sound nothing like the series, the staff weapon sounds are spot-on though, that's good.

    You should only be able to comment on this game before it actually comes out if you're a fan of the show, please. I was actually surprised at how good the graphics looked in its pre-beta phase. And whoever complained about the sound, those were the same effects from the show and it brought back a ton of memories.

    I agree with wolfenigma. Many other MMO games looked at the begging just like Stargate Worlds, but at the end they were huge blockbusters, games like Age of Conan or Pirates of the burning Sea

    I'm amazed to see how many of you people constantly put this game down based on a 15 second PRE-BETA gameplay video. Have you even seen how pathetic Warhammer Online looks after RELEASE? This game looks fine and loyal fans to the series are grateful for finally having a game world based on the world of Stargate.

    wolfienigma is right, however pre-beta wow was much diff, but that's why blizzard took so long, unlike other MMO producers who, eith 1: want a quick buck or 2: just don't know that they might need a little more work, sorry for my horrible grammar, i didn't know how to say what I wanted to say.

    i seriously think they could improve upon this, i mean just from watching this vid it looked like i wouldn't even have to bother to upgrade my computer(and my computer is one of those cheap $370 compaqs with no decent hardware that couldn't even support tetris). but hopefully it'll get better and maybe the storyline and gameplay will make up for it. and who is that retarded to compare this to halo?

    First of all who ever compared this to halo s a retard the show and the movie came out way be for halo was even in concept and this was one of the greatest sci-fi tv shows on the face of the planet and i was so sad to see it go and with the death of Don Davis (Gen Hammond) less than a year later it just made the whole show more meaningful. I would hope that the producers of the game would do a good job on the game in order to bring the experience of the show into the players hands. "DON'T FRICKEN COMPARE IT TO HALO"

    I waited so much about a mmo from this t.v. series that i lost count. Me, i am a big fan of that show, big fan of the SF, and that combination of ancient Egypt & SF is just mind blowing. Me, i do not think that a game is great only because it looks great, it can look bad but the game play & story line could make it great. Don'know maybe is just me !?

    I didn't see anything that made me say "Hey, now that's stargate". Then again the video didn't really show much/nothing impressed me. I'm not sure what to think.
    Whenever the full game comes out I'm likely to get it no matter what simply to try it. I've learned long ago not to discount anything based on looks (which I have no problem with btw, graphics are fine... what's the problem?) or the reviews of others. Everyone else isn't me, so why should I listen to their reviews?
    If nothing else I'll be supporting a Stargate property, which is worth it to me if that's what it takes to insure more stargate based content.
