Hey, I only say Missile because that thing is like, the best bait tool ever.

You don't even need to burst bait, it could be an "ANYTHING" bait.


Just throw it out, hold the button and walk up to your opponent. Any thing they do they'll get smacked out of it because the missile willl explode.

The only Exception I've seen was that Yu's low profile slide can go under it... and the explosion... somehow.... >_>

The missile is Teddie's actual only viable reversal super. Teddie Circus can get you out of anything, but that can easily be avoided, and is punishable when landing

As for throwing out random missiles....that...never works....unless its used as a reversal; they can just block the initial hit and the explosion

This missile also doesn't even do that much damage (unless it hits raw for like what, 1700-2000?), and can be beaten by:

Yu: Cross slash, Swift strike
Yosuke: DP
Yukiko: DP
Kanji: DP
Naoto: DP
Teddie: DP, bear Circus
Aigis: Goddess Shield
Mitsuru: Bufudyne
Akihiko: A well timed Maziodyne/EX Duck
Labrys: DP, Brutal Impact, That bull ram super
Shadow Labrys: DP, Brutal Impact, Challenge Authority
Liz: Mahamaon/Mamudoon (lol)

Universal: Evasive action, Super jumping over it
Everything else that can be used as a reversal can also hit Teddie, but will still get hit with the missle

I say this because I sometimes use the missile after his FA to land an unblockable super. While 3/4 times people jump to avoid it and get hit, he remaining 1/4, people will avoid it doing these moves

What missile are you using? Ground random missile?

No, I mean air missile, tr a range where none of that stuff you listed even works(except maybe buhudyne, and maziodyne, but even then they still get hit.).

Souji used this a LOT. Because when it's there it's a living "Come at me, bro." because you're not getting away from that missile safely. That missile is going to get away from you by exploding.

I should've said air missile to make it more clear, sorry for the confusion.

He probably used this as a safe way to get in, seeing that he could detonate it when he wanted to. But regardless, most of those would still work depending on the position.

The real thing I think you should be worrying about (if you haven't seen it yet) Is the Missile(C) unblockable setup. If you angle it correctly, you can use the missle blockstun on the 1st hit and explosion to keep your opponent in place while you use bear circus to hit them from behind. Ive seen it done once to me.....cheapest, thing, ever

I can agree with you there. Spacing is important for things like that. If you space it wrong you don't get the benefits you want.

This is the first time in ages I've felt like I've had a good conversation with someone on GFAQS.

I've seen that before. It's pretty cool. In P4A, I think everyone who needs buffs should be buffed and every other character who doesn't need it receive small buffs or no buffs or a nerf for something that is just stupid beyond all reason (Raiden Dropkick in KOF <.<. If they do that, that is. That's how SNK did it with KOF and everyone became awesome.
