Death is a very dull, dreary affair, and my advice to you is to have nothing whatsoever to do with it.

The PC version is announced. Nothing in terms of the Vita version, but this will be fully online, instead of like the PSP series where you can play most stuffs offline.

Playing: PSO2, Zero no Kiseki Evo / On Hold: P4G, Nayuta no Kiseki
Anticipating: Atelier Totori Plus, Virtue's Last Reward (somewhat, already platinum'd)

Yes it will be localized to the psvita around the same time when the PC version comes out next year
  • Dec 17, 2012 6:27 am GMT
No they won't, this is SEGA we're talking about here. They hate there western fan base did we all forget about how psu ended up? They'll see the Pc version failing in the west due to being behind in updates and just blame it on the pc version as to why the vita version was never localized.

There's no word on it, but I'm pretty sure they will. I mean Japan is getting it as a free download on the Vita and a paid for disc version, so chances are they'll just give us the free download and rip us off from a hard copy.

Do NOT underestimate Sega when it comes to making stupid decisions.... Yes it looks hopeful, but until they actually announce it publicly consider this game Japan only on vita and mobile devices....... Sega have a history of bad pr, marketing and support for most western releases so even if released it will probably have less content, fewer updates and in all less of a life cycle than the Japanese version.....
There has been very little marketing for the US/EU PC version which is worrying for a game due early 2013 so it will struggle and that will seal the vita versions fate IMHO,.... If the US/EU PC version is a success then chances for loclized version will increase, but without pr it is doomed given how saturated this market is already.... So as it stands, FORGET about a localized version till Sega says otherwise..... Just be glad you can access the japanese version and apparently the language is not too hard to learn to read according to some....

I would support an online petition for localized vita version

Why the heck would you copy/paste the exact same message from another post? Damn.

Anyways, I'm hopeful that Sega would do it.

It's possible but with the fact that Vita is essentially failing in the West, Sega might just decide to shaft the fans.

We all know how well Sega treats their "Western" Fans.... No Dlc for either phantasy star unvierse portable games or even the enhanced edition... No valkyria chronicles 3 ect...... This not getting localized wouldn't be a suprised to me. But we can be certain of getting a Sonic game or some crappy movie licensed game... that's for sure.

Ok say it did get localized... WE all know it's just a matter of time before they drop support for the game in favor of the japanese version. As soon as sega see's the slightest decline in micro transaction or online population they'll drop this quickly. So even if it did get localized support will be lackluster at best. Also I already know about valkyria chronicles 2 being able to play on vita.... unless it was to tell others.

I agree, considering the failing health of the Vita, even if the game did come out, why would you expect any better service than we got with PSU (piss poor), or even the Phantasy Star Portable games (beyond piss poor, no Infinity)? It's a sad state of affairs but I assume if any version does get decent treatment it will be PC, because the install base will be larger.

I'd like to know this as well, Vita owner since Christmas, never owned the PSP and I know I missed (and will have a challenge getting) a few gems - I'd also rather have a physical copy as a 4GB mem card will only go so far but probably even less likely eh

I have Valkyria 2 on my Vita. I don't remember if I downloaded it directly to my Vita, or transferred it from PS3. I bought it a while before the Vita came out.

It seems like it's mostly failing because people won't buy it thinking that it's failing.
