This game is just awesome. You can plant so many things!

The game's plot is pretty simple. You have your lawn and you have to keep zombies from entering in. You have lawnmowers at the ends of your house to destroy the zombies. The zombies each level try to sneak their way in with special tactics. To name a few some zombies are in football uniforms, some zombies have traffic cones on their heads for protection, and even a zombie that has a disco suit that calls other zombies to fight! However you have weapons of your own. You have peashooters, corn that catapults and slows down zombies, a landmine plant, sunflower that produces sun, plants that drown zombies, etc. There is a wide variety of offensive and defensive.
There is also a character named Crazy Dave who sells things for you that will help you on your way. For example he can give you more slots for zombies, more plants, and basically anything that you could possibly need.

The gameplay is smooth. All you do is tap with the iPhone (or iTouch) and place zombies on the lawn. It is really that simple. You can also use the shovel which takes away plants. The strategy of the game is that you have sunflowers producing sun, but they take time. So you need to wait and decide what plants to buy. For example the watermelon is 300 sun points but the peashooter is only 100. So you need to decide whether to buy three peashooters or one watermelon. There does need to be a balance. There are five squares per column so you need to space out your plants. Some people do a pattern of sunflowers all the way to the left and then put more offensive plants to the right.

Plants vs. Zombies is awesome! Definitely need to buy this game if you like strategy, plants, and PopCap (the company)!
