Start/Select - Vita 'can control PS3,' new WOW expansion on the way?

Errr...yes actually.

Problem is this...How many people own a wii? How many people own a ps3? You're talking this generation's best selling console versus this generation's worst selling console...by a very large marigin. Also...how many people really want to buy a 250 dollar controller? Does it still sound like PS Vita is the Wii U killer?

Why would you want to use your Vita as a controller when you already have PS3 controllers? They're probably more comfortable to hold than the Vita...

Dont forget that vita is also a portable console with its own games:)

Ok I had some problems understanding this guy, well whatever, I don't think the wii u will be threaten because the games for Nintendo are very different and for a different audience....if there were the possibility to see Donkey Kong and zelda in the Ps3 that would be different and now that most of games are multiplatform it will mean that what works for wii U will work for PS3....so if you already have a ps3 it means is gonna be cheaper for you....

dont think the wii u should be really threaten but the vita is going to sell more than it. hope i can get the vita big sony fan since ps1

Well actually Nintendo should not be threatened by the Vita because casual gamers are probably going to choose the Wii U over the Vita since it's next gen and much more powerful and those who do not own a PS3 would not benefit from the Vita as a controller. I was thinking of getting a PS3 and now I hear that the Vita can be used as a controller so now I think I should get it. That's bad news for my wallet :-(

@johndmes Sorry but nobody took this idea from anybody, seems more like a coincidence, both companies where working on the same idea at the same time, and for the GBA/GC connectivity, that was more of a gimmick at that time that didn't work more thatn an important feature. The one that now worries me is Microsoft.... what will they do now? release a portable handheld?

Like what Sony's doing is anything new - and, laughably, they took the idea from Nintendo. Or, am I the only one who remembers the GBA Link for the old Gamecube, that never amounted to anything?

would be epic if the Vita will be used as an extra controller for the ps3, with added features using the touch screen, should be gd if developers take it on.

is this guy a complete moron didnt nintendo say that they understood the hardcore gamer market and would get popular developers on like EA, Ubisoft, THQ, codemaster and Activision plus many more that means games like batman arkyum city, battlefield 3, ghostrecon online not to mention its a brand new generation console with full HD support so should it be threatend by sony? not really

So I can play games on the Vita and with the Vita. Sounds pretty cool, especially since I'm a Sony fan. No disrespect to the Xbox or Wii.
