- The Bottom Line:
- "Grows on you"
The game grows on you. You get excited when you first start playing it, then you put it down after a while. But then you find yourself looking at the game for a while before picking it up and playing again. Then you can't put it down. If you have another pokemon game and ds, it makes both games even more fun, being able to trade different pokemon between the games and dominating every trainer you meet. Also, the story line is good. Keeps you thinking and wondering about what the while point of the game is, and you can't find out unless you beat the game. To have the radio back though would have been good for the game. I enjoyed choosing the music that played instead of the automated tunes depending on where you go. More side activities could have been involved, though making the cubes out of berries is fun. I enjoyed the pokewatch and its apps, expecially the hidden item finder, day care updater, step count and the time. Made breeding and treasure hunting a lot easier. Also, the trophy garden is a great way to find rare pokemon and train, I got my growlithe (traded from HeartGold) up 10 levels in about an hour or so.
Overall, it's a good game. I like to buy my games with gaps between them, or they all seem too much a like. So to go from Crystal and Yellow to Emerald and Sapphire to then HeartGold and Diamond is great. Different pokemon, different regions, different plot and more stuff packed in each time. I love it.

Sabrina uses Psychic types, and strong ones at that. There were some rough spots when dealing with Mr.Mime and Alakazam, but I got through the mess.Posted Aug 4, 2011
