Pokemon Platinum is a must buy for all Pokemon players. Highly recommend for people starting the Pokemon games. This game is an excellent first game for players as I know from experience. The story is amazing and will keep you interested in the game at all times. Although the game may seem a bit "old" at the moment, it was still one of the best in the series. You may not find the "Pokemon Platinum Experience" all that exciting if you have already played and finished Pokemon D/P. But there are still some differences which make the game more unique. The Battling is advanced from D/P and is fun and challenging. You will learn how to become strategically good at this game because some parts you will need to know your stats to continue. I found this game incredibly fun and it got me very interested in Pokemon. Some parts are challenging while other parts are really simple. Most players at the end of the game are be reasonably satisfied by its great story and gameplay. I personally find that this is my favorite Pokemon game in the series...so far.
