CYOA the world gets changed into pokemon(--Continued--)

"Ughhhh. . ." Daentyn lifted his head from his sore arms, blinking away his groggy haze.

Slowly and spinning slightly, the world came into view: a sparsely decorated room with only the most essential furnishings dotted throughout. The only thing before him was his desk, topped with a few sheets of barely-used paper, a pen, and half a glass of water.

Daentyn shook his head violently. His entire body felt wrong, as if he had just exercised for an entire day and night. His muscles were tight, his head swimming with colors and thoughts and feelings that he couldn't control. He felt he was slumping in his chair. He must have been, because he was nearly eye-level with its top.

Still shaking his head confusedly, Daentyn slid from the chair, and realized several things at once. He was short, much shorter than he should have been. His feet were unnaturally steady on the carpet, despite his current mindset. And in the mirror before him stood a small blue figure that he would come to realize was a Pokemon.

Shocked, he leapt back, hitting the wall with both of his seemingly stunted legs for only a second. What was this? He was agile now, but the confusion of the situation wouldn't leave him.

Hours later, he had come to terms with his transformation. He was a Riolu. For some reason, he'd. . . changed.

But he liked it. He had realized he could now do things that his human self couldn't. He was eager. He was primed. He was leaving his room, his apartment building, and stepping onto an empty street outside.

And there was a Farfetch'd. It hit him like a bolt of lightning: he was not alone in this situation. Eagerly, he approached the only other being in sight, and, as far as he knew, in the city.

He handled that. . . well. Daentyn had stopped in his pursuit, watching to see how the Farfetch'd would deal with his attacker. In the end, he'd somehow come out on top, and from Daentyn's distance, appeared to be starting a fire.

In a moment, the little Riolu had closed the distance between them. His final approach was slow; he did not intend to provoke his target.

"Hey there," he said, hoping the bird wouldn't be startled. A fight was not what he needed, at this point, at least. Daentyn remained a few steps away from him, observing Farfetch'd with wary eyes.
