I was just thinking that only vortex could be the real organization 13 villain in this cyoa. the rest are off busy doing more important things. while vortex is off in this world. there we don't have to worry about the plethora of enemies.

Okay, fighting death it is.
Pendragon saw the scythe blade coming a mile away, and raised his left hand Kama to deflect the side cut. His foe, expecting resistance, doubles over for a moment from the force, then recovers, just in time to take a right stab to the sternum. Pendragon knows it was a crippling blow, but his foe simply stands up, and swings again, but this time a little more quickly. Pendragon blocks this time, and they start circling each other. His opponent is incredibly slow moving, and his strokes, while powerful, feel like he isn't really trying, and thus Pendragon has time to continue the conversation with the strange girl.
"I said, who are you? And why isn't this guy dying?"
