Pokemon X and Y? Thoughts on it

Pokemon X and Y has been announced, and I love the whole 3D graphics of the game, and the new battle look, It reminds of Pokemon colosseum on the N64 what I loved, so I am one for this. But after reading peoples comments got me pretty annoyed, comments like "oh its just going to be the same pokemon". To be fair, pokemon will always be like this, how do expect them to change it, make it a FPS instead of catching the pokemon? try and get my point here. I could say the exact same thing about CoD, no change to the game what so ever, just new guns, new maps. Could say the same thing about pokemon, new pokemon (guns), new area and gym leaders (maps). It all plays out the same and this is what I'm trying to get my point across, How could they change pokemon? You can't in my eyes. I think this one looks fantastic, and I am not a pokemon fan boy as I have only played Red, Diamond and Black 1. But tell me what you think?

I agree. Pokemon is kind of its own genre, so you can't really change it (although I suppose technically it's an RPG). Besides, they have enough spinoff titles, like coliseum, conquest, mystery dungeon, etc. to keep the pokemon universe diverse. I don't exactly know what it is that people want to change about the main Pokemon series? I think they make just the right amount of innovation with each new generation.
All of that being said, I'm extremely excited for Pokemon X Y.

i think the Pokemon community is nothing now. no offense
its always the same people that hack Pokemon and suck the fun out of Pokemon to complain. i too kind of think Pokemon did remove great stuff like Pokemon follow u outside the poke-ball, poke watch side quest and the vs seeker but whose to say hat the game wont improve on other things. i love Pokemon regardless. to me a new game is a new game.new pokemon or new graphics the journey is what ill love the best . people need to wake up and notice not everything needs remakes guns and such . the new generation was request by so many and now its being CRAPPED on. ITS A NEW GENERATION FOR GO SAKE! the best part about it is its different . name another franchise like Pokemon that's fun....ill wait.....
