Allow me to start by stating that this is my first review so please keep that in mind. Now let 's talk about the game. Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands is a sequel to the original Prince of Persia The Sands of Time and was developed by Ubisoft Montreal. I found the story to be very good as I was eager to find out what would happen next and how would the Prince deal with the new crisis he faced (which I' not going to spoil for you). Overall the story entertained me till the very end of the game and never disappointed me. The graphics in this game are pretty good and at times mindblowing. There were occasions when I would stop to look at the breathtaking landscapes or marvel at the architecture. The models where pretty good too but didn't receive the attention that some of the environments did. But the indisputable highlight of the game is the gameplay. Sure the combat may get repetitive and not offer enough variety but the platforming is mindblowing. The new powers the Prince gets to play with at this game allow for some very fascinating platforming integrations and thankfully the developers figured that out and the result is the most original and gratifying platformer I 've seen yet. That being said the game has two difficulty modes (easy and normal) and there is no online content to keep you playing after you 've finished the campaign. But a second playthrough is almost inevitable given the game 's quality. All in all I found myself enjoying this game very much and since its price has dropped I would suggest it to any prince of persia or platforming fan.
