Get the first info on this Wii-specific entry into the Prince of Persia lexicon in this interview.
i have a feeling this could be disapointing because most games that are released for every possible gaming system usually suck (Avatar the game, Harry potter and such), and of course, most of them are released along side a movie and by ubisoft, so i wouldnt be surprised if it is the same as those games as well.
@ keyboard-hero there are PC PS3 PSP X360 DS WII version coming, I think he just meant that the Wii version gets a different story (maybe, [if he thought it will come only for Wii and there won't be a different story, oh how dumb he will look]) and it made specifically for Wii because of the controls.
If you go to Prince of Persia homepage. you can see that this game is not coming only for Wii but also for PC , Xbox 360 and PS3. So just chill.
so they changed prince to look like Jake Glenhall , instead of finding an actor that looks like Prince.... oh well
"Specificaly for the Wii". How is that possible? They said it was also coming for the PS3 and XBOX 360! Unless the Wii version is having special treatment. That makes more sense
Wow, Wii, it is your time to shine, New Zelda, New Mario, New Metroid, Monster Hunter, and this, i can't make up my mind which I will buy first.
I like how the Prince of Persia in the background is looking at the guy with a look of disappointment. And he's drawing his sword.
it will fail... seriously it's not an RPG game so someone really need to explain anything about it, we shall know once we play it!... what's we really need a gameplay video to see if it still comics or the SOT is really back...
@bramterris oh. didn't the guy say something about it being exclusive for the wii? Thats what brought about my original post.
Lame...a prince of persia game with emphasis on the Wii? Okay, i reserved my judgement up to the point where the developer said "...for combat we focus on slashes to make attacks and you use the nunchuck to make...ahhhh punches (wow our ideas are unoriginal and boring) and basically these are the main way of using wii remote in combat.." No word on using the Wii Motion plus for combat? Where you will have complete control over your sword and apply a much needed immersive factor into a Wii game. Well done Ubisoft and prince of persia for adapting the same hack and slash formula to deliver a new gaming experience never before seen in an action/adventure game...
Hahahahahahaha he said "the ***kers in sands" at 00:10 Lmao he keeps on saying it hahahahaha this is too much
i think that the new prince of persia is agood game but it should be made before 2 nd part of the game ;&the wii version is very cool
i think i'd prefer it if Ubi CONTINUED the storyline instead of just going back, i mean come on, it's been over 5 years. We want to move on you know.
wow impresive ,it has nothing to do with the ather 4 games of POP ,the new powers have nothing in- common between them and the other 4 games ,except stopping time for few seconds ,the new way of getting from place to place with the 3 powers is amazing and using them in combat also. This is very new world that the guys from Ubi crated ,soo I just can't wait to explore it as soon as it comes
@Ironserpent It's ubisoft, they are going to milk every game they release for as much money as possible, so Forgotten sands is on 360, ps3, psp, ds and pc as well as Wii. This interview just talks about wii version in specific
@ammon1 he doesnt soun like spanish i speak spanish and he has more like indian for sure and french too, i think hes indian (thats why the indian music in the bg XD) and he moved to france after he hehe , mmm i tought they were going to show some real footage and not only some pics meeh ps: you know he sounds a lot french, hear how he says: forgotten
As much as I love PoP, this is not really exciting me. They already tried this on the Wii and it wasn't too great. Plus, using the pointer to enable skills is just too tempremental. It looks pretty and cinematic, but I'm not so sure.
