I have been a PES fan for donkeys and since pes 9, i have began to get bored of the product. It lacks cutting edge advancements that one expects from a next gen game. The interface/menu is not next gen (static graphics). fifa flaws pes in interface/menu. I love the fact that when one presses pause during a match, the music comes up with stage effect like its coming from the stadium and the camera moves 360. unlike PES that its static and u just hear the crowd. Game play is what matters and I must say fifa gives a better representation to the real game. I own PES 11 and the game can get annoying at times. when u expect a player to volley, he would just fumble. By chance, I recently played fifa 11 and i was in AWE! The game hardly ever annoys me. Its slower than PES, PES is fast and action packed more like accade but FIFAs closeness to the real deal makes it much better. PES game play feels "linear" after you have played fifa 11. I could carry on and on about my sudden transition to Fifa but I would end up typing an epistle. Conclusively, im not too impressed with the improvements in this gameplay as i feel they should have been added in PES10, FIFA already has those improvements, therefore, I cant wait till the 30th of September.

Tried demo, first of all the right stick didn't give me control of my teammate most of the time, took like 5-6 tries before I could make him do a forward run. Model clipping still bad, in my first game De Gea let in 2 shots, one straight through the middle of the pelvis as if he wasn't there, the second one he didn't leap far enough to stop a free kick. Goalkeepers received no improvement imo. Other probs from 2011 like weird ball physics, poor body balance and referees SEEM to be fixed.

I think that the Active AI has been on Fifa a long time now and I don't know if you guys notice that the ball of PES is a little weird and players look like robots

Fifa physics system is way better

Pro EVolution Soccer's only plus against FIFA is their in-depth attention to details. Their practice modes are better, their game modes are more intriguing, and having official license to Champions League and other tournaments spits in the eye of EA. However their player physics are sloppy, defensive AI does not intercept a lot of easy passes, and cannot measure up to FIFA's attention to detail in flow of soccer itself. PES is definitely trying to give FIFA a run for their money, but its not happening just yet!

@Lusifer_x I agree with you. It's not a new surprise in FIFA series but I think it's not a new thing in PES also. It looks like players are skating on ice all the time.

The players are still floating, wtf why don't they work on the physics engine for the love of GOD!! Since 2009 PES and FIFA 's players are just floating on the field ! PLZ FIX THIS BUG !!! I wonder who agrees with me .

look promising, especially Active AI, but how about deference? Defender's AI is one of the major problem also, hope Konami can improve it soon
