This game is a rollercoaster of emotions I totally did not anticipate (bought it mostly to support NoE and because it looked interesting). Now I support the series and am anxiously waiting for the announcement of a fifth game on the Wii U. Import if necessary.

If you have a PS2 or PS3 that can still play PS2-games, did you give the first and third game a try?
I think they're a lot better than the second game.

First game? Maybe. I like them both equally honestly.
Third game? No. At least for me it was not that good, and it's easily my least favorite in the series.
Though, currently FF4 is my favorite. Dat storyline...

This, I modded my Wii so I could play both. The remake absolutely eclipses the original in all aspects, even the British tinged voices are improved from the original overall. I would buy this in a heartbeat should it hit North America on either the Wii or the Wii U in some sort of collection along with the rumoured Fatal Frame 5.

I really hope that they release the Lunar Mask one in Wii later this year.
I bet the reason why they released this one in Wii is because they want to revive the series but with in a better console where people can actually appreciate it's gameplay.
I think Wii is the right console for Project Zero games.

Well considering Pandora's Tower was just announced for localization recently, I feel beyond a shadow of a doubt there is hope for Fatal Frame to see the light of day in North America too. I get the feeling XSEED and Nintendo of America will ink out a deal much like how they did for The Last Story and now Pandora's Tower. Operation Zero will remain proactive, I am the helmsman for it, meaning I run the whole thing. I intend to put together something to contact XSEED Games as we speak.
