Unacceptable. The butt-traitors and ape-brained anti-gamers at NoA have won the day. The nail is in the coffin. If only there was a law against this kind of anti-consumer malevolence. The game is already localized in Europe?! What gives!?!

But what would that accomplish? The man said "no." He even directed us to Tecmo-KOEI. Besides the Wii is slowly becoming irrelevant. By the time PT is out consumers will have switched all of their focus to the Wii U. The window for success has almost completely disappeared, as has the Wii market. Unless they manage to get the game out SOON we will have lost and the mindless FF-haters at NOA will have won.

This is ridiculous and unfair!!! This would have never happened had Nintendo not took partial control over the Fatal Frame IP! I will never buy another Nintendo product again if this game does not comes out and I will personally BURN MY Wii U. A friend told me to stop worrying about it and I told him to **** off and haven't talked to him since. Fatal Frame isn't just a game, it is a lifestyle that those limp-noodled happy-flapping MEANIES at Nintendo refuse to let us indulge in!

Yeah, I got a response back from Tom of XSEED Games at the forums. Apparently they have an idea that Nintendo holds the rights, but worry that TK still holds a say in matters and feel their chances would be slim. Ergo why it is that we got a response the way we did. No one knows the full details, and God, it is a heart-crushing answer. But something is telling me to keep going, I do not know why, but I just can't give up on Operation Zero now. Not after all the hard work.

Have you considered importing it?

I own it but I still want them to release it over here officially. I literally cannot sleep at night b/c of it.

dude no offense but apparently Rainfall had no effect in getting PT or XB stateside. And even if it did I doubt a puny little Facebook group with a fraction of a fraction of the support will get the game over here. seriously, 1.6k people will not do it. I think there was some niche RPG like Ateleier or tales or something that got 50k people to write in and ask for more games and they ended up bringing the next one or something. nintendo is much bigger and probably much harder to convince.

And the last time a hunch told me to keep going I wound up w/ alcohol poisoning. the way you tried to boss that XSEED dude around based on a "hunch" even though he had already given you the facts is kinda silly. But not as silly as those TRAITOR-MASTERS at Nintendo!!!!!

Boss that XSEED dude around? Excuse me? I was merely trying to showcase a fact as well, and I thanked him and praised him as a gentleman. I don't consider that bossing someone around at all. We have a common goal, don't we? Cut me a little slack, cap'n.

As for Rainfall? They did not ask for credit in matters, nor do they claim credit in the slightest. The one thing they did do was raise awareness of the titles, and unify people to support them. To me, that's all one can ask for.

Also, having a hunch about a game (I somehow KNEW PT would come, even though I was off on the timeframe and I feel the same for this game too BTW) and having a hunch about drinking alcohol are two completely different things. When you learn to trust your intuition about what's going to happen, and if you truly believe in something, you manifest it into reality come hell or high water.

http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/keeping-nintendo-wii-and-sony-psp-alive-an-interview-with-xseed-games-ken-berry/

This is the last Wii game they will publish.

"I think I’ve said this before in a previous interview, but I really mean it this time when I say that I think this will be the last Wii title we publish. Of course things could change if a great Wii title were to fall upon our lap or digital distribution for that platform took off, but as of right now Pandora’s Tower will probably be our final Wii title."

What fact? The only fact I saw on your forum-post was that you were mad that the game isn't coming because the numb-wits over at Nintendo wouldn't do it themselves and started begging and pleading with people who already said that they can't do it. and if you are who I think you are based on your initials, you pestered them about it on their most recent FB status update even though they have said TWICE that it is unlikely. there is a time to accept the fact that the anti-gamer twits have won and that time is now. It completely sucks, yes, but your puny facebook group isn't going to change the mind of these megacorporations.

it isn't about credit. XSEED and Nintendo have said rainfall had no effect in them deciding to localize the games: you seem to think that this operation ripoff is going to get P0 overseas when a much larger, more professional, and infinitely better run effort failed in affecting these decisions.<

oh jesus. you really are delusional, aren't you? This is you in a nutshell: trusting baseless intuition in light of facts and realities provided by these publishers. Nintendo has said "no." XSEED has said "no." They're not going to change their mind because average joe has a gut feeling that the game would do well. I'd like to see you run XSEED, or hell, any business, and in my mind, the only place you'd be running it would be into the ground.

deep down, you know it's true. And if you don't, then you're just setting yourself up for more disappointment in the end.

You know who you remind me of TC? You ever play Skies of Arcadia (any iteration of it)? Recall the scene in the Valuan sewers before Vyse goes balls out and rescues his father and the other Blue Rogues from being executed by Valuan soldiers? Yeah, you remind me of the character he talked to shortly before he got into the coliseum, I believe his name was Marco. God, what a pessimist that kid was, and what a rotten attitude he had when you met him.

Yeah, you definitely remind me of Marco before Vyse won him over for sure. My take? At least I am getting off my ass and doing something about it for something I truly believe in. You, on the other hand, seem to love trying to pick at me, trying to break me down and get me to just lay down and give up.

I find it hilarious that you say I threw a tantrum and hassled them, when that was the furthest thing from the truth. And I find it doubly hilarious that you seem to think that you talking down to me is just going to cause me to lay down and call it quits. What? Like I've not dealt with my fair share of naysayers already?

A leader does not quit just because someone who seems very envious of them, talks down to them and falsely sullies their name. Feel free to throw your stones at me, unlike most, my house is not made of glass. It's made of brick.

You barely responded to any of my points. You're like a kid putting his fingers in his ears and singing "nah, nah, nah, I can't hear you~!" to drown out his parents' lecture.

You don't want to face the reality of the situation. I didn't talk down to you, I laid down the facts about these companies and explained that you are wasting your time and energy trying to change something that isn't going to change.

Instead of your futile campaigning, why don't you just mod your Wii import the game? That way you'll actually have a surefire way of playing it instead of putting your faith in a misguided belief that Nintendo will listen to 1,600 or so people on a Facebook page (protip: 1,600 copies sold isn't a success. It's a failure). It will take hundreds of thousands of people to get them to even think about changing their minds, and even then, they're likely to ignore it and continue doing what's profitable.

Or so you think **LOL** I think the only one who's blind in this house is you my friend. I feel so sorry for you, living in such a pessimistic world. Recall how XSEED said the same thing about Pandora's Tower? That they had "no intentions" to go after that title? Yeah, we know what happened now, don't we?

Just because a company says "no" does not mean it won't ever happen, I am very well aware of the situation at hand that we're dealing with. Hey, just because things look grim, does not mean it's a hopeless situation whatsoever. I view myself and I view OpZero as a catalyst of hope to show that there is a market for the title much like how OpRa views themselves as well. OpZero does not merely exist on Facebook so you know. No, I have the backing of Beyond the Camera's Lens (I consider Emi, the proprietor, a friend if anything) and FYeahFatalFrame on Tumblr. Further, OpZero is part of OpRa's campaign hub, meaning articles can and will be published on their website.

XSEED actually did not know Nintendo basically owns the rights to the IP to boot. I pointed that out and again, I thanked them politely for all they've done thus far in that topic on the forums. I'm not trying to "change their minds" whatsoever, as Ken already said himself he loves Fatal Frame and I am positive he wants to gloss over and go after the title but they just have their hands full right now which is totally understandable.

Also, XSEED usually has an ace or two up their sleeves knowing their record. Who's to say they're not secretly ironing out a deal? Or at the least going to give it a go. Like they're going to reveal all of their dealings to us plebs? A company wouldn't be a company if everything was laid out in the open. I know things are not looking good, but to give up now and give the haters and everyone exactly what they want and have them all say "Ha ha! We were right!" and adding some insult to injury would be a smack in the face of all the fans of the series.

So no, you didn't win sir, neither one of us did. The only thing I feel for you is pity.

Iced Earth fan and goes crazy because some publisher won't release a game on a dying console. Good Lord. It's only a game.
• Mar 14, 2013 3:11 am GMT
I hope you didn't jumble me and the crazy person in the same category. *lol* Because I was not the one who had a massive meltdown over not getting something they want, and it is obvious this guy wanted me to do nothing more than shut down Operation Zero. Truly a pity when they claim to be a fan of the series and then go pull this crap.

Hey, some of us know it is more than a game. The series means so much to me as a person. It literally changed my life and helped me figure out what I want to become at long last amongst other things. I do hope this topic is archived soon because I won't be dealing with señor psychopath again.
