    @wowwar2 on the contruary, it's MASSIVE but not chaotic. I'm playing BETA now, and just as you say - sometimes it seems too good to be true Maps are huge, customization is extensive, very good reward system for cooperation, so it actually makes people team-up. You will constantly see attacks and counter-attacks by groups of 20+ people, pretty amazing

    i think this game is awesome,but it seems too good to be true,
    i can't wait till it comes out,256 players,i have a slight sensation that this will be one heck of a choatic battle.so many players,so little chance of winning

    What ever happened with Huxley? Looks good asthetically, but will the servers be able to handle the mmo setup. Something we haven't seen from a next gen console yet! Excited none the less!

    To the peeps asking about online charge, there is none, it was already announced that there wouldn't be. so stop worrying, it's not a mmo, just a structured fps with mmo massive number of players.

    i really doubt they will throw in a charge for playing it... the only way it would cost you is if you can download it through the psn.. warhawk and socom were both online only games and there was not cost to play them

    Im sure the Xbox is crashing down if you watch the media briefing its obviuos Xbox is definately not Crashing down, ive got to say this gme looks amazing but 1 game cant ruin another console

    Because of this game and infamous, xbox is crashing down....Game looks awesome.....and i'm surprised the graphics are (not as good as COD obviously)still good even with 256 people + vehicles.....I wonder if their is a split screen multiplayer where me and my buds can play online.

    Let me get this out of the way first, this looks friggin sweet! But, there are a couple things that would just make this even more awesome for me, Cover system: Make it very close to R6 Las Vegas 2, that's my favorite cover system in gaming right now.

    Health: Of course the, "Get shot, take cover, heal naturally" cover system is probably going to be implemented here, I'd like to see it similar to COD4, in that you have to take very little damage before you die. I hate games where you have to unload almost 1/2 the clip into a guy before he dies.

    Hardcore Mode: Just like COD4, no HUD, minimal health, etc. (I wouldn't mind one with a HUD, just make it so you have very little health)

    If these are implemented, I will buy a PS3 just for this game (And MGS4 and Infamous)

    OMG! OMG! OMG! This game seems so f*king awesome! Can't wait 2 get it! Man if they wrote InFamous and Mag for the 360, the 360 versions would get lower scores because of buggy gameplay due to that the 360 is less powerful than PS3. And then red rings would be notably more frequent.

    Looks pretty cool but too soon to tell yet but 256 players it is massive with 60 players on R2 how on earth are they going to get this to work and also how the hell can I mute the annoying T**T that has his R&B hip-hop on too loud it hard enough on KZ2 ffs! (note minor issue just hate Rap)

    This game is going to be amazing, or totally suck. Either way though, it's gonna break ground for other developers to follow. Thanks Sony for initially sucking, then coming back after I bought a 360...no really thanks for that you pieces of crap.

    okay this IS being bought!
    along with a price reduction with the PS3, this splatters any FPS on the 360. and i do own a 360 and buying a PS3 'cus of this game.

    @ MeGotGun - The whole idea of the game is that you work in teams. At first you are a squad member commanded by the squad leader, who in turn is commanded by a platoon leader, who in turn is commanded by an OIC (Officer In Charge). There are 4 squads of 8 people (1 platoon) and 4 platoons of 4 squads you will have to command who you are in charge of, following your above officer's orders.

    There is also a skill system kinda like Fallout 3, so if you want to do deal with sniping, you would up that skill.

    Another point people might make is that that many people won't work together, well they try to make them work together by giving more rewards and benefits to the helpful people. Although you can go alone, you most likely you will die.

    big battles can work with little to no lag, like battlefield 2, which i loved

    the problem is will it achieve the feel its going for or will it fall flat, like resistance 2 multiplayer, which i didnt like (although many would disagree)

    The only true selling point of this game would be its promise of 256 players in the same match. The developers are going to have really put the effort into designing very solid and effective latency managing subroutines to prevent lag issues, even if PSN is very good.

    this reminds me, very much, of battlefield 2...and that's a good thing! add to that the large battles, this could be epic on a grand scale for a console! PS3 is such a finesse console that I think this will run fine and we are in store for some good times! Please no monthly charge...please?

    looks like the graphics are not that good compared to COD and Killzone. Also looks like it will be very laggy and too much like socom.

    If anyone has ever played a good RTS game and loved looking down upon hundreds of little men shooting machine guns at each other over cover, for example Empire Earth II, I bet this will be just like that, except with you being one of those little tiny men (:

    Ive always wanted a game like that but with swords, because then you'd have to get close, and I could imagine how good it would be to look to your right and see loads of other players slashing away (:

    It would be really cool if you got ranks, and if you where a high rank you had a chance of becoming an officer for the map, your team being split into squads and the officer puts waypoints and everyone should go there, that would be amazing because im sick of playing COD4 and other games and wishing everyone would calm down and do some sneaking instead of Run&Gun all the time ):

    It won't go slow at all, simply for the reason that the graphics are bad.

    Play a game with at least decent graphics on the playstation and you'll see that it has graphics of a much lower quality.

    There isnt a lot going on at all, the screen seems to be rarely filled with explosions, and when something does explode there is no physics with parts flying off, which would be the only thing to slow this down.

    Just look at the texture on those guns, its something that a PS2 would show, if you think this is going to lag, you're wrong, COD4 has much more going on and it doesn't lag at all.

    Also, just to set it straight, if you try to reply to this comment with things like "cod4 lagz uber lotz" That's because you have a poor internet connection, get rid of that dial-up and get yourself some wireless.
