PLACING more than 1 c4 at a time ?

While waiting to load a new mission, there is a hint about the c4,it says that you can put more than one c4 at different location and blow them all together, how do you do that cause when I put one then he is holding the detonator and I tried all the buttons so that he could hold another c4 instead of the detonator but nothing or no buttons changes it,so can anyone help? ,thanks

just press L2, then place the charge and you hav the detonator again, you can repeat it as often as you like
