this game is heaps of fun and hardcore is really hard just to find the enemy, graphics are amazing and the realism in getting killed is really good
great game however online is alittle small for size

This game is great, if you play through the campaign with a friemd you wont forget it anytime soon, have just started going through it again on hardcore and it brings a whole new meaning to the word.

i agree that there can be annoying bugs here and there but through a whole campaign play through i probably spotted about 3 or 4. so theyre not asregular as some comments are making out.

awsome if you like tatics and team work / waste of time if you like run an shoot.

    @elgrantimmy:

Buy MW2, and then get killed by wallspammers, ac-130s, and tactical nukes? At least this game takes skill.

    Posted Nov 7, 2009 4:54 pm GMT

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY MW2
I hate this game. The graphics look kinda old, the AI is really annoying and there's so many things that aren't in this game that should be. You can't blow up buildings, when you're driving a car a small rock = solid wall and the game just isn't fun to play. I played the first flashpoint and loved it but this one is lacking since other games offer so many features that this one doesn't have.

this game is not intense at all, most of the game you are running, and then you suffer if you don't have a sniper to kill an enemy, plus the AI is not that great ,if you play cod 4 of BF:BC you will find that things are intense, there's action, storyline, while this game has no story line at all you just go to the island and that's it fight. the good thing is the details of the players, the modern marines and the gun feeling. if you want to feel frustrated and disappointed but feel great after you win the mission, get it, if you want something that matches gears of war ,cod 4 or rainbow six vegas or vegas 2. you will be disappointed.

@ P R E Y. why would you want a simulation when fantasy is so much better, you wouldnt watch pornography and then have the woman moan at you in the mornig to pick up your dirty clothes would you

I Really Don't Understand The "It's to Hard" Idea, A Hard Solid Game Is Fun.CoD is simple yet awesome. I play this game and dudes, its 8.0 at least

Can't decide on this one ... it seems really good, and not so great at the same ...

I think its sad for people to say its too hard, or its too realistic. It is a simulation if anything, and really why do you want a fake modern fighter? I LOVE military tactics, I LOVE games that try and make it like you need to think like a soldier, and not a teen with a controller in your hand. I haven't got this, but if i can scrape the money out i'am really tempted, im sure the AI will get fixed at some point, and really it is everything i want in a modern shooter, atleast to back up games where you are a super regenerative soldier like in CoD, actually i think i'll trade them in for this Oh and for the rating its one person's opinion, actually try the game and see what YOU think, if i rated your mums dinner on this site as average, would you listen to it? No so dont go by ratings, i have never listened to Gamespots ratings, i look at everybody elses, and it has rarely let me down. Oh and if they are bad but i think the game itself isnt, i actually try it, i know that sounds foreign to most of you.

This game is garbage, too realistic to be fun. Instructions should say, "Remove from case, insert directly into toliet"

how is this game different than COD 4 or 5? bigger maps? more like battlefield? more vehicles?
    more bugs?

  • razarocks

    Posted Oct 26, 2009 8:11 am GMT

the recoil seems to be really dampened. IRL, it's impossible to control your gun in burst mode. ArmA is more realistic though which 1 is more fun, I can't say as I haven't played OFP 2.

its too bad this game didnt come out during a dry spell. borderlands, odst, butal legend, batman even, cod coming up, personally im looking forward to bad company 2. looks like a rental otherwise, but sadly it will squeak by my radar, even with the good review

Actually, I haven't encountered many bugs at all, neither AI blunders, sure there have been some but not nearly enough to destroy the experience. I love so far

4+ hours for the first mission (all objectives), sitting on a hill with bino's watching enemy movements then planning your assault. This game sucks you in, the first time I played it I could not see enemy soldiers and yes I got shot heaps of times but as you play through you start to think a little more creatively instead of running in gunz a blazing. Oh and turn the sound up LOUD.....whizzzzzz

much easier than Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter

There's a fine line between fun and frustration but there's also a fine line between life and death. Play the game on the hardest setting and you'll know what it feels like to be a real soldier. Best war simulation ever made.
