    A few months after arriving in stores, SOCOM: Confrontation was updated to version 1.3 via a free patch that, among other things, added trophies to the game. There are 37 trophies in all, including a platinum one that can only be earned by first getting the other 36.

    SOCOM: Confrontation has improved notably since its release, but there are still lingering problems. The clan system, ranking, and stat-tracking are now functional, and system crashes are no longer prevalent. Though the lag has been somewhat lessened, there are still enough slow-downs to frustrate even patient players.
