    Jesus, please TAKE THIS REVIEW OFF and have someone who isn't an immature teenage idiot review it. How did you hire these people? Did they win some kind of contest? I doubt it. Please, for the sake of Gamespot, Square Enix, the art of games, and game developers, AND OF COURSE THE GAMES MASSSSSSIVE FAN BASE, fire these two and get someone who isn't an emo kid who actually likes the game to say whats "GOOD" about this highly anticipated game. You two are lucky we can't see your faces in this. Ive been waiting a long time for this game, and it disgusts me to see this aweful review. Thank you for your time!

    I have to agree with the majority of the comments. If this was meant to be promotional it failed miserably with the horrible commentators that totally turned me off of the game. Sounded like a couple of immature teenagers and was just not funny even though i think that's what they where going for. Very bad move poking fun at Final Fantasy knowing the HUGE following it has, you had to have known you would get flamed to hell for this. If these are the kinds of people that score and review games here at gamespot...well...I will find it very hard in the future to take the scores you give any game very seriously after this.

    Omg!! why did they ruined the whole demo who exectly offer them to do this demo despite realizing this game series is so serious business to all gamers in the world, @gamespot I thank you for all this beautiful website and support but this kind on non serious attitude from Gamespot employees is a surprise atleast to me please don't let them do any demo review again please.

    I know I was also disgusted by what those two people had to say, but I guess they just hadn't prepared somekind of FFXIII Demo Walkthrought speech and so they just improvised as they went on. I don't think they were trying to piss people off they probably didnt realize how some viewers would react to their dialog... Now the game itself the face animation is exactly what I bet Square wished for FFX now the characters can show exactly how they feel with insane graphics. The only downside to the FF series is that it's expensive to be a fan, and to must-own all the games.

    Ok first off the demo Rocks cant wait to see more of this game.. But you guys playing the game you suck. If you dont like the game and are gonna bad mouth the way square enix drives a story line then dont play it and let someone else demo it. Your comitary wasnt even funny it was more retarded if anything. To those who watch in the future i would mute it and play some background music

    snow's fighting style resembles Zells, he could knock 100 ton monsters into the air too! Looks awesome, and it said it's coming out in winter! (If it has been pushed foreward, please don't tell me)

    The commentary was more like a joke than anything that would help us like the game. Why would you joke and be 100% sarcastic through a demo of a game you are promoting?

    Anyways, game looks great! Can't wait to give it a try and see what the story writers have come up with this time.

    Dear Gamespot, please fire these two idiots and let someone else do playthroughs. They may not have given away any story but they totally ruined the demo for a lot of people. have never heard the word "dude" so many times in only 20 mins... neither of them are funny eventhough they attempt to be and they sorta ruin the mysticism that is final fantasy by being so cynical about everything.... larkm hit on that girl on ur own time, maybe after a few drinks she will laugh at ur awful jokes.

    Oh yea... By the way... SquareEnix blows and Final Fantasy will never be as good as it once was... FF10 was the last good one. It will never be prime time again like back then. The only way they could possibly make Final Fantasy any good would be to remake FF7... But everyone knows that if they do that, they will butcher it just like they have been for years now...     I kind of hope the game is funner then it looks... Which I'm sure it is as all Final Fantasy games are. But still... with all the classic franchises devs have been butchering these past couple years, who knows. Also I heard him say that there is no magic system... So that's pretty lame.

    Due to the moronic non informative commentary throughout this demo review I could not even finish watching it, do the commentators even know how to review games in a constructive manner, I personally do not care about what the commentators think of the names used or the styling of the characters which insolently I think look great I am more interested in game play and story you know the things that matter in a game! , such a pity gamespot you could not have professionals reviewing this demo instead of some random morons that it appears you dragged off the street who would not know what a quality game looked like if it came up and slapped them in the face, bad form.

    ok enough about the commentary,

    I do worry about the comarison to Xenosaga 2's battle system which i didnt like and would like to forget, though from the early FFXIII trailers it seemed like it reflected VP2s system which i had hoped.
    but i guess its still too early to say since this is a demo

    Well this was shoddy. Unsurprising so, considering Gamespot's lack luster performance and the simple fact that Lark Anderson is commentating. Lark is....really quite terrible; his reviews are filled with irrelevant, stuttering bits of information coupled with a supreme lack of.....I suppose I'll call it "critical ability". That's not the say he isn't critical (though all he did was blow Re5 in his review), but that he lacks definition in his comments and isn't poignant....at all.
    I used to come to Gamespot for honest, usually more critical, reviews on the games I considered buying. With the loss of some of their better staff and the addition of less able staff, coupled with the sensory-raping advertisements, I've basically decided to go to a site which is actually on top of things *cough*IGN*cough* for all of my future purchase considerations.
